I.D.M.E. & M.M.V. Bring and host STL CYPHER SUNDAYZ This place was found by dancers and nourished to life by them. Originally starting with only 8 people some cardboard and a boombox. This has turned into a full scale dance event. Its always FREE, donations are greatly appreciatted. A few of us take care of this location by devoting our time and enrgy in the upkeep. We keep the lawn nice, we clean the trash, we destroy negative graffiti. This is truly a one of a kind place for dancers in STL. Nowhere else do any dancers have the ability to simply meet and dance with no competition at all. To network and expand your mind are keys to this place. To some it has become a type of church it can soothe your soul. We are always looking for people interested in helping us out. If interested get in touch with us! Music MAde Visible, bring you the place to be. A chance to come hang and enjoy the beautiful outdoors while watching performers entertain. I doesn't matter whether your a dancer or not, we invite you to join us. This is not a competition but a freestyle session, a chance to network,an opportunity to challenge your mind and have fun! Come to dance and meet new dancers, share your thoughts, hang out and have a nice time. In regards to food, this is a potluck style event. The more people bring the more there is to share. Donations are always accepted to offset the minor costs of the event. There will be BBQ grills going starting at 5 PM. What makes this special is that we all throw in food and drinks to keep this event free and friendly. Things you can bring that are usually needed: water, soda, alcohol, chips, meat, vegetables, fruits (Chicken drumsticks are a fav so far.) The grills will go until about 8 PM then the lights will be brought out and we will continue into the night. Dj's will play on some Sundays based upon availability. Since most of us work on Mondays we usually have things wrapping up around 10 PM. Please help us keep the area clean. If your willing to help it's quick, simple, and greatly appreciated. *Fire performers* this is a great spot for your to burn. There is a large open space on gravel with nothing flammable around and a upper level viewing area. We can also play tracks from your phone, mp3 player, or you may bring a cd. This is event is open to everyone and highlights the artists! Please come to showcase or practice your talents or just hang out! With everyones help this can become an amazing year for all of us. The building's Renaissance Revival design is an example of common styles in St. Louis architecture in the 1920s. The hotel was built to serve middle-class guests, but it had advanced fireproofing, two restaurants, and a rathskeller.In 1913, construction for the hotel began, replacing a three-story building. The hotel cost about $250,000 to build. However, it is unclear who designed the hotel. Plans for the hotel give credit to Harry F. Roach, while building permits list the architect as Albert B. Groves. Both men were well-known St. Louis architects who had each designed various other hotels, but were never in partnership.
