Close your eyes, take a deep breath and be transported to the bygone era of glitz and glamour that comes to life at El Tucán, a new modern-day cabaret that reinvigorates the lavish dinner and show concepts of Havana, Cuba. Located in Brickell, the venue features a range of musical styles from Afro-Latin to Parisian pop, bringing international DJs and emerging acts to center stage and creating the ultimate nightlife experience. In addition to an eclectic musical lineup, El Tucán houses a resident 11-piece orchestra, carefully curated by Two-time Grammy award-winning pianist, composer and producer Marlow Rosado, that is reminiscent of the big bands from the jazz eras of the 40s and 50s. Food is also a mainstay at El Tucán, featuring luxe libations crafted by Bar Lab, the brilliant minds behind Broken Shaker, while serving up Latin American inspired tapas to share. Bedecked with crystal chandeliers, gold-framed mirrors and crushed velvet accents, the intimate, theater-style venue will also be open late night, so partygoers can continue feting after-hours. With strong Latin influences ingrained into its cuisine and stellar musical programming, El Tucán will turn your dream of a modern cabaret into a reality.
1450 Brickell, is an all-office skyscraper in the City of Miami, Florida, United States. It is 540 feet (165 m) tall with 35 floors. It is adjacent to One Broadway in Downtown Miami's southern Brickell Financial District. The building is located on the corner of Brickell Avenue and Broadway. The architect is Nichols, Brosch, Wurst, Wolfe & Associates, Inc. The building contains more than 580000sqft of office space. The project is one of several new office buildings to open in Downtown Miami.Energy efficiency1450 Brickell is Miami's first LEED Gold office building. Hill York, a mechanical contractor, built the utiliVisor system in the building to continuously commission the building's HVAC systems.Hurricane resistanceAt the time of completion, 1450 Brickell incorporated the strongest curtainwall window system of any commercial building in the nation. The entire 35-story glass curtainwall system is designed for large-missile impact (hurricane resistance), even though Miami-Dade County only requires glass in the first 30 feet of a building to be large-missile impact-resistant. DeSimone Consulting Engineers is the structural engineering firm for the project.
