Lab1500 is founded on the principle that collaboration drives innovation. It is a cool, comfortable space where seasoned and aspiring entrepreneurs can join together to cultivate ideas, host meetings and attend events.
Owners Dan Lohman and Jan Andersen spent countless hours at dining room tables and local coffee shops while developing their first of many business ventures together, Ignition Tank. Like many entrepreneurs they encountered the challenge of finding places in St. Louis where they could meet with business partners and interact with others. In true entrepreneurial fashion, they embraced the need and opened Lab1500, a space where creative minds go to do business.
A project of Ignition Tank, Lab1500 takes over the first floor of its headquarters at 1500 Washington Ave. in downtown St. Louis. The nearly 120 year-old building was renovated in 2012 to capture the industrial yet rustic essence of the once abandoned factory. Exposed brick walls, hardwood floors and intricate ceiling tiles make up just a few of the historic elements that were restored and combined with modern-day technology for a creative vibe.
Lab1500 is unique in that it’s open to entrepreneurs of all backgrounds and truly promotes interaction. For a minimal fee, members have access to amenities including a beverage bar, WiFi, lounge seating, a resource library, co-working desks, conference rooms and a classroom. Additionally, business-related classes and networking events are hosted at the space on a regular basis.
Membership at Lab1500 offers more than just a desk. It gives back to its members by creating a place to be inspired and inspire others.

Northside Workshop (NSW) is a nonprofit art space dedicated to addressing cultural and community issues in North Saint Louis. A collaboration between the Old North Saint Louis Restoration Group, the Kranzberg Arts Foundation and Artist/Cultural Activist Juan WIlliam Chávez, restored a historic brick building in danger of being destroyed and transformed it into an art space. Northside Workshop’s high-impact programming and projects incorporates socially engaged art, education and creative placemaking that engross the community in creative projects that focus on community identified issues developed through partnerships and collaborations.
Since launching our community-based programs in 2010, we have saved and completely restored our brick building on Saint Louis Avenue and further contributed to the beautification of the neighborhood by initiating youth programming in the form of beekeeping and urban agriculture on-site. This year we were able to expand the number of students participating in the Young Honey Crew program with support from Ovation Television Network. These funds additionally allowed us to purchase necessary beekeeping and gardening equipment, as well as art supplies. Our food program also grew this year taking food from seed-to-table by teaching Young Honey Crew members how to incorporate fresh ingredients grown on-site into nutritious recipes.

Keep the Rams in St.LouisDistance: 0.8 miCompetitive Analysis 901 N Broadway St Louis, MO 63101 St. Louis, MO
The St.Louis Rams were established in 1995 after moving from Los Angeles, CA. The greatest owner ever Georgia Frontierre moved them because of a pathetic fanbase. While people in L.A refuse to admit it the rams suffered several blackouts in Los Angeles. Even though their the second biggest market in the world their just not capable of supporting a N.F.L team. While even the rams over a 5 year span have just a record of 15-65 their attendance numbers are still better then L.A St.Louis has always supported the rams L.A not so much. Is it me or is it obvious they belong in the greatest sports town in the world St.Louis, MO. In their 17 year history in St.Louis the rams have 6 playoff appearences, 2 conference championships, and a superbowl championship. How many superbowls did they win in L.A as many as i have ZERO. Did L.A ever have the G.S.O.T i don't think so all signs point to the rams staying just remember one thing STL rams forever and L.A sucks. Everyone in STL rams fans around the world join the cause.
Heart Transplant Association of St. LouisDistance: 1.0 miCompetitive Analysis 2835 Olive St St. Louis, MO 63103
In 1987, HTA of St. Louis was founded to provide emotional, educational, and financial support to pre and post heart transplant patients and their families. In March of 1998, the Heart Transplant Association of St. Louis was incorporated and became a 501 c (3) non-profit organization. We are empowered to help all heart transplant patients in our area.
Our purpose is to support pre and post heart transplant patients. Support and encouragement come through support meetings, social events and visitations with patients. We meet regularly to provide information on transplantation, medications, insurance, legal and governmental information. We have guest speakers, we work on public awareness projects in relation to organ donations, and we keep our members informed of all and any news related to patients and heart donation.
We provide financial assistance to members in need through the Barnes-Jewish social work office. Annually we have fundraisers to provide funds for those who might need financial assistance. The assistance fund is not an entitlement program. Therefore, no guarantees are made as to whether any request can be granted. Since the fund is provided with charitable donations, availability of funds, the number of requests received, and other factors must be considered in providing assistance. It is however, the goal of the Heart Transplant Association of St. Louis to be of benefit to fellow transplant patients in need.
We encourage visitation with those that are waiting for transplantation and we have a team of mentors who can give more in-depth encouragement and support.

Our mission is to provide innovative, intuitive and individualized financial solutions that help promote your lasting and vibrant business health.
It in 1995 our founder, Nate Salah started our parent corporation, Salah Financial Corp, preparing taxes (the old fashioned way). Back then we didn’t have fancy computer systems to help with data entry or calculations. Nope, it was just pencils, Blue or Red Federal and State forms and thick government publications.
Through a shared vision, the organization developed a passion to help small businesses succeed. Our company grew from one location to two locations to three to four with many committed team experts who just so happened to be exceptionally personable (and smart!) with backgrounds ranging from grant writing to non-profit to corp to audit to cost accounting to business formation to taxation and more.
Over time we expanded our services from individual to small business, added payroll, bookkeeping, business formation, financial & managerial strategy and created a entrepreneur’centric (is that a word?) brand called accountRely. Whoo – we’ve been busy!
Today we’re based out of St. Louis, Missouri with a fun and professional office, a solid team of tenured pros, and the most awesome clients from all around this great nation. It is our mission to make the most helpful suite of accounting solutions available to entrepreneurs everywhere and our vision to make a difference in the lives of small business by promoting business health wherever we can help.
We sincerely hope you’ll partner with us – but only if there’s a solution we can help you achieve. We don’t believe in selling anything…we look at everyday and every opportunity as though we are in the problem solving business.
