CenturyLink Field is a multi-purpose stadium in Seattle, Washington, United States. It is the home field for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL) and Seattle Sounders FC of Major League Soccer (MLS). Originally called Seahawks Stadium it became Qwest Field on June 23, 2004, when telecommunications carrier Qwest acquired the naming rights. It received its current name in June 2011 after Qwest's acquisition by CenturyLink. The complex also includes the Event Center with the WaMu Theater, a parking garage, and a public plaza. The venue hosts concerts, trade shows, and consumer shows along with sporting events. Located within a mile (1.6 km) of Seattle's central business district, the venue is accessible by multiple freeways and forms of mass transit.The stadium was built between 2000 and 2002 after voters approved funding for the construction in a statewide election held on June 17, 1997. This vote created the Washington State Public Stadium Authority to oversee public ownership of the venue. The owner of the Seahawks, Paul Allen, formed First & Goal Inc. to develop and operate the new facilities. Allen was closely involved in the design process and emphasized the importance of an open-air venue with an intimate atmosphere. The stadium is a modern facility with views of the skyline of Downtown Seattle. The stadium can seat 69,000 people.

Located on two corners of Occidental Plaza, The London Plane is a one-stop haven for downtown residents, workers and travelers alike. We have two spaces (The London Plane and The Little London Plane). The large space on the northeast corner is The London Plane, part cafe, part specialty foods grocery, and part floral workshop. You can stop by in the morning for a coffee and a handmade croissant. Come lunchtime, enjoy an array of salads, soups, and plated lunch items. You can also pick up groceries & whole grains, a bundle of mint, a bottle of Italian olive oil, and a loaf of sourdough baked in our wholesale bakery located in the back of the building. If you’re headed to a party, there are flowers, soaps, etc. to share as a hostess or birthday gift. At the southeast corner of Occidental Plaza is our smaller space, The Little London Plane. We serve bar snacks and a list of wines and refreshments by the glass. Our shop section showcases beautiful housewares and gifts from local artists and artisans, as well as cook and design books, and a selection of wines by the bottle for takeaway. From the creators and curators of Urban Light Studios comes a second venture into a multi-use creative space, preserving the former Elliott Bay Book Co. and turning the 122-year-old, 6000-square-foot space into an axis point for history, art, culture, photography and events. The Rainier Club is a private club in Seattle, Washington; it has been referred to as "Seattle's preeminent private club." Its clubhouse building, completed in 1904, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was founded in 1888 in what was then the Washington Territory (statehood came the following year). As of 2008, the club has 1,300 members.HistoryThe Rainier Club was first proposed at a February 23, 1888 meeting of six Seattle civic leaders; it was formally incorporated July 25, 1888. The attendees of the original meeting were J. R. McDonald, president of the Seattle, Lake Shore and Eastern Railway; John Leary, real estate developer and former Seattle mayor; Norman Kelly; R. C. Washburn, editor of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer; Bailey Gatzert, former mayor associated with Schwabacher's, Seattle's and the state's most prominent Jewish-owned business of the era; A. B. Stewart; and James McNaught. Other founding members were lawyer Eugene Carr, Judge Thomas Burke, and William Allison Peters.The club is named after British Admiral Peter Rainier. The name may have been chosen because of Seattle's rivalry with nearby Tacoma. Tacomans at the time were ardent in their support for the native name "Mount Tacoma" for the mountain now officially known as Mount Rainier. In 1892, the club actually sent a delegation to Washington, D.C. to argue the "Rainier" side of the case. The club's logo was modeled on that of the Union Club in Victoria, British Columbia, founded 1877.
Rental includes tables, chairs, linens. and all serving/glassware. You get all day access. There is no noise ordinance so you can party as late as you wish! Parking is easy. The venue can accommodate up to 300 guests. Ideal space for 100-180. There is room for both ceremony and reception. The rate to rent is 3$3,000 for reception and an additional 1,000 for ceremony.
