The Target Red Dragons race each summer at the Lake Phalen Dragon Festival in July. This team was formed out of the Target Asian Business Council, and is a fantastic way for Target team members (and a few special friends) to take part in community relations events while learning an ancient Chinese sport, and the skill and teamwork it involves.
The Movement Minneapolis is the first and only gym in the world to fully implement the Gym Movement Protocol in our training. What does that mean? Among other things, it means we use biofeedback to determine what works best for your body from one moment to the next. Our training philosophy can be summarized by paraphrasing an Arthur Ashe quote: 1) Start where you are. 2) Do what you can.

The name an homage to the wonderful character Mr. Kesuke Miyagi, Miyagi Martial combines the training of multiple schools of karate and also incorporates gymnastics, Tai Chi, chanting, meditation, and the philosophical pondering of some Hare Krishna, Taoist, Zen Buddhist, Shinto, Hindu and Bahá'í teachings.

YogaQuest started as a class and has become a community! YQ, the studio (or YQdio), is inclusive of people of all shapes, sizes and fandoms. If you have been scared away from other wellness classes because they're too hardcore or too crunchy - you've finally found your place. The word "yoga" literally means union - we want to bring people together - because, after all, isn't geeking out with others a lot more fun?! The YQdio offers "regular" yoga, in addition to our Original flavor - as well as other offerings for the mind, body and spirit. YogaQuest is unlike any yoga class you may have experienced before! It is a unique blend of yoga and fan-fiction story-telling. Your quest is guided by a narrator and a certified yoga instructor, as the class embarks on an epic, and often ridiculous, journey through a popular fandom. Move through the story by following a yoga routine designed to improve strength, balance, and flexibility. Pose nerdy with us! YogaQuest...what do you seek?
