When I was a little girl, growing up in Hungary, the most favorite way to spend my time was by my grandmother’s side watching her bake. Those memories still warm my heart and make me yearn for the aroma and taste of those fantastic sweets she so lovingly made. I realize now how talented she was and how much I learned from her. After I came to the United States, I missed many things, but the thing that I wanted most were my grandmother’s cookies; I guess you could say that I craved my ultimate comfort food. As a tribute to her recipes and an attempt to keep her legacy alive, I decided to start baking, as she had taught me...with wholesome, fresh and organic ingredients. Today, more than ever, we are aware of the absolute necessity of eating wholesome, organic and non-processed foods. The evidence for good health benefits from clean eating is staggering. I wanted to be proud of my baked goods and I knew that I would not be if I compromised my ingredients. So, now I spend more time finding natural, organic and Non-GMO ingredients than I actually do baking because I know that the best ingredients make the best cookies. I am proud of my products and I know my grandmother would be too! Let me introduce you to my favorite childhood sweets...sweets that you can feed good about eating!
