The Fraternal Order of Eagles is an international non-profit organization uniting fraternally in the spirit of liberty, truth, justice, and equality, to make human life more desirable by lessening its ills and promoting peace, prosperity, gladness and hope.
At Bexar County E.S.R., We work one hundred percent on donations. All of our members are volunteers, and we operate twenty four seven. All of the donations we raise, we use for food, drinks, medical supplies, gas, vehicle maintenance, uniforms, maintenance to our department, and care for our facilities Bexar County E.S.R. is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization that provides drinks, food, medical, restrooms, heat, or air conditioning for our fire fighters, police officers, and search and rescue. We usually provide our services when they are at a scene for an extended period of time. We started over 14 years ago to assist our first responders, fire fighters, police officers, and search and rescue by Mr. Bobby Briggs, and his wife Debbie Briggs. Both of them saw a need in this field since they themselves are first responders. We respond to all fire, police, and search and rescue calls in San Antonio and our twelve surrounding counties. Other services that we have provided is to help supply school supplies, Christmas, Easter and other gifts to children who are in need, or are in the hospitals.

The Entire Cattery Program is designed to pull cats of all ages from the euthanasia list and get them adopted out. We take in all cats, regardless of age or illness. We have a high success rate of cats who were suffering from a variety of illnesses when we saved their lives. Saving so many cats means a greater need for toys, food, litter, cat trees, scratch posts, and volunteers to love on them! The Bottle Baby Nursery Program is a creative approach to saving an entire class of especially fragile, homeless animals. The program targets orphaned, unweaned kittens fated for euthanasia at San Antonio's Animal Care Services. Each year, especially during the breeding season, which spans from March to October, ACS and local rescues are overwhelmed with orphaned kittens. Nearly ALL of these kittens are euthanized because neither the shelter nor other groups in the community can provide the intensive care they need to survive. Saving so many kittens means a greater need for kitten milk, food, supplies, medicines and skilled care, as baby kittens can become very ill quickly and will die without swift treatment. Please consider helping our groundbreaking and live-saving Bottle Baby program through volunteering, fostering, and/or donating!
