Our club holds 8 Tournaments a year at local lakes. Most of our events are held on Saturdays and are in close enough proximity that we can all be home and refreshed for Sunday morning service. A typical event starts with Prayer, is eight hours long, and ends with participant's fellowship lunch near the lake. You will find our club to be unique, in the style of our members, our HELP a CHILD charity event, and love for the competitive sport of bass fishing. Reasons to support the friends of the Saint Louis University Liver Center: * The Saint Louis University Liver Center enjoys worldwide recognition as a center of excellence. * Hepatitis C affects 5 million people in the United States. One in 50 people have Hepatitis C and nearly two-thirds of those people do not know they have it. * Hepatitis C can be diagnosed with a simple blood test and is curable in about 60% of patients. * In addition to Hepatitis C, there are over 30 other liver diseases which can be diagnosed and for which there are treatments. * The Friends have raised and donated more than $1.9 million for the SLULC since its inception. The funds help support the critical infrastructure of the Liver Center from faculty salaries to visiting professorships and patient-oriented seminars and research. By leveraging the donations of the Friends, the Liver Center is able to use the "seed money" as a match for larger grants from outside sources that generate $18 new dollars from outside the region for every $1 raised locally. * All money raised by the Friends of the Saint Louis University Liver Center stays in the St. Louis area to support programs in education and research of liver diseases

Maryville University's Community Service Club is a community of student volunteers that strive to make a difference within the community. We take part in a variety of service projects throughout the year. We're a family program that operates through Friends of Kids with Cancer to provide iPad packages to teenagers battling cancer in the St. Louis area. Each iPad package includes an iPad 2, case, warranty, and itunes gift card. The goal is for the iPads to help kids keep up with school, keep in touch with friends, and have something to do during their treatments that many times involve long stays at the hospital.

BBT provides Biblical leadership development and curriculum to small-group Bible study leaders, helping them grow in their relationship with Christ and equipping them to pour into the lives of others. The ministry focus of BBT is developing group leaders for small-group Bible studies. BBT groups meet at work, near work (e.g., restaurants, coffee shops, etc.), or at a local church. BBT provides leaders with curriculum that is focused on practical work situations to help participants directly apply Biblical principles to what they do every day ... but that's just the beginning! BBT is more than a Bible study - it's an individualized Biblical leadership development process for group leaders. BBT coaches work with group leaders to assess, equip and encourage them to lead in every area of life (we call this the Leadership FlywheelTM). We believe that leaders who are growing in their relationship with Christ will lead thriving, Christ-centered small groups.
