Loyola Marymount University's DEPARTMENT OF ART & ART HISTORY (A+AH) engages the intersection of history, art, design and community through coursework that focuses on collaborations across academic disciplinary lines as well as through interaction with the surrounding community of artists, activists, entrepreneurs, non-profits and cultural centers. A+AH's STUDIO ARTS (STAR) is comprised of the following areas of emphasis: Art Education, Fine Arts (Ceramics/Drawing/Painting/Photography/Printmaking), Graphic Design and Multimedia Arts. As active practioners of the visual arts, design and new media, STAR utilizes a spectrum of creative strategies to visualize the inextricable connections between life, the intellect, and the imagination. ART HISTORY teaches students to analyze the historical development of the visual arts and culture and understand art of past and present societies. We challenge our students to discover, define, envision and reimagine our world through inclusive, creative, collaborative, and inventive learning experiences. A+AH envisions the future by creatively engaging the social, political and economic dynamics that shape our world. A+AH has two galleries. The LABAND ART GALLERY is our university art gallery that features exclusive art exhibitions that have relevance across mulitple disciplines as well as the broader community. The THOMAS P. KELLY STUDENT ART GALLERY is our art gallery where students participate and gain hands on experience in managing a gallery and developing student-driven art exhibitions. The Department of Art & Art History, the Laband Gallery and the Thomas P. Kelly Student Art Gallery are part of the College of Communication and Fine Arts. We are located in the Burns Fine Arts Center at Loyola Marymount University.

George C. Page Stadium is a baseball venue in Los Angeles, California, USA. It is home to the Loyola Marymount Lions baseball team of the NCAA's Division I West Coast Conference. Opened in 1983, it has a capacity of 1,200 spectators. The stadium is named for George C. Page, head of the Incentive Aid Foundation, which covered much of the venue's construction costs. Features of Page include a "Blue Monster" in left field, training areas, and reception facilities.In the stadium's first game, played on March 19, 1983, Loyola Marymount lost to Cal State Fullerton 5-1. As of 2011, the Lions' all-time record at Page Stadium was 471-352-4 (.572). Their best single-season mark came in 1988, when they had a 30-5 (.857) record.FeaturesOf the venue's 1,200 person capacity, 200 is theatre seating and 400 is metal bleachers with chairbacks. Standing room and a first-base side picnic area account for the remaining 600.The field's generic features include a press box and concession stands, and recent renovations have added more to the facility.Mikos Blue MonsterModeled after Fenway Park's Green Monster, the Mikos Blue Monster stands 37ft. high and 130ft. wide in left field. It contains an 18ft. by 46ft. manual scoreboard, also much like Fenway's. A gift by LMU alumnus Paul Mikos (Class of 1966) allowed the wall and scoreboard to be constructed in 2001.

Believing that literature is a profound expression of human experience, the English Department at Loyola Marymount University uses a range of critical methods to introduce students to literatures in English from a variety of cultural traditions. The department further encourages students—developing poets, fiction writers, playwrights, and essayists—to express the richness of experience in original creative writing and journalism.
The Student Loan Office is responsible for the student loan process, from securing the promissory note through repayment of the Federal Perkins and Institutional Loans. The Student Loan Office is also responsible for managing the required Entrance and Exit Interview.
