Secondly, a&bé gives brides access to something different: we have a little bit of the bohemian, & the casual, & the vintage, & the separates, & the alternative & the romantic.

We have been in the bridal business since 1948 --- with more than 60 years experience of serving brides. We feature an amazing selection of Bridal Designers with gowns available Off-The-Rack or for special order. We also carry the latest trends in Veils, and Hair adornment. The concept of The White Room started when owners Anne McNulty and Carmen Duerr decided that they could fill a gap in the Twin Cities bridal scene. Carmen has been a seamstress and dressmaker for over 20 years with a long history in the service industry. Anne has been involved in the service industry for over 10 years as well, with dreams of starting a fashion-forward retail business in the Twin Cities. As the owners discussed ideas of collaborating, The White Room was born. Focusing on fashion-forward, luxury bridal gowns, the boutique will succeed at providing both expert tailoring from the designers and owners, and friendly, warm customer service. The owners, who will also be managing the boutique, have been working with 5 independent designers, all promising to host their products exclusively through The White Room.

The Anne C. and Frank B. Semple House is a historic house in the Stevens Square/Loring Heights neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. It is located on the same block as the George R. Newell House and the George W. and Nancy B. Van Dusen House. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.The house was built in the Beaux-Arts architectural style, reflecting a shift in style toward the classicism of the Renaissance and away from Victorian ideals. Its first owner, Frank Semple, was a partner in Janney, Semple, and Co., a wholesale hardware firm. The entry on Franklin Avenue has a balustraded entry porch with Ionic columns, a detailed Palladian window, and a rounded bay. The interior has a reception hall with mahogany paneling, a hardwood floor with marble inlays, and a frescoed ceiling. Interior spaces include a 1000sqft living room and a ballroom.The mansion is now available as a reception site for weddings and other events.
