The Academy of Music, also known as American Academy of Music, is a concert hall and opera house located at 240 S. Broad Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Its location is between Locust and Manning Streets in the Avenue of the Arts area of Center City.The hall was built in 1855-57 and is the oldest opera house in the United States that is still used for its original purpose. Known as the "Grand Old Lady of Locust Street," the venue is the home of the Pennsylvania Ballet and Opera Philadelphia. It was also home to the Philadelphia Orchestra from its inception in 1900 until 2001, when the orchestra moved to the new Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. The Philadelphia Orchestra still retains ownership of the Academy.The hall was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1962.

Nest is a developmentally-rich play and learning environment for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. An inviting oasis to nurture creative stimulation, offering Philadelphia‘s young families innovative classes in early enrichment, movement, music, dance, arts & crafts, language, cooking and more. Nest also features a portrait photography studio, café and parent lounge, kids salon, and toy and clothing boutique in more than 12,000 sf on three levels.
The Heritage Center is a celebration of the rich history, heritage and traditions of The Union League of Philadelphia and is a place where our archives and collections can be viewed, interpreted, and shared with members, guests, and visiting scholars. The Heritage Center is home to the Union League’s three foundations: Youth Work, Scholarship and Abraham Lincoln. Each of these organizations provides a method of giving back to the community by educating the public about our nation’s history, recognizing student role models in our region’s high schools, and providing scholarships to deserving students. Member and community support and involvement in these charitable organizations is exemplary and distinguishes the League from many other city clubs.

One of the nation's oldest experiential education institutions, The Philadelphia Center provides students from across the country with an independent living and learning experience while earning college credit. Students who enroll at The Philadelphia Center have the option of two programs — a 16-week fall or spring semester program or an 8-week summer learning work program. Each program combines multidisciplinary seminars, an internship experience, city living and comprehensive advising. A typical student's schedule looks like this: • Intern four days a week • Attend a City Seminar course one day a week • Attend an Elective Seminar course one evening a week Our students leave Philadelphia with a strong sense of their abilities, social and professional aspirations, and a plan for their future. In a recent poll, 99% of our alumni would recommend The Philadelphia Center to prospective students, 87% reported that their experience at The Philadelphia Center helped them find employment after graduation, and 72% reported that their experience at The Philadelphia Center helped them with acceptance into graduate school.

The range of services Say Yes offers across its Chapters include everything from after-school and summer programming, mentoring, tutoring, and school-day academic support to family outreach, scholarships, and social work/ psychological services. These services help to create a positive, sustaining framework for each student's academic experience, one that encourages and rewards continued effort.
