Opened in 1990, with more than 100 professional meeting planners working together with architects to design every aspect of the building, the result was simple; a sensible, state-of-the-art facility with easy traffic flow and everything you need in a stunningly beautiful building in the heart of downtown Denver. Expanded in 2005, well-known as one of the most practical and “user friendly” meeting facilities, the Colorado Convention Center is now home to over 250 events annually. The Colorado Convention Center is located within easy walking distance of over 8,700 hotel rooms, 300 restaurants, 9 theatres of the Denver Performing Arts Complex and a wide variety of shopping and retail outlets. Beta Nightclub’s audio, visual, lighting and effects system is designed to complement the DJ and nightlife experience. With multiple innovations and constant evolution of the nightly production elements, we strive to bring a full sensory experience to all of our customers. We are GREEN! We designed Beta to be as environmentally friendly as possible. The Beatport Lounge is 100% green and not just the color. The whole club was designed with this in mind by using sustainable products. Since our grand opening, we’ve made it a point to reduce, reuse, reclaim, recycle and use sustainable materials throughout Beta. We also institute a recycling program for our output by installing recycle centers at major traffic points in the club so that patrons can discard glass, plastic, aluminum and paper products appropriately for our environment. As our slogan states, Beta Nightclub is the definition of “Club Culture Evolving”. At no point in time are we 100% complete, projects are constantly in the works while new ones are being brainstormed. Unlike other venues and nightclubs, we cater to any event’s needs, whether that means installing full LED panel rigs or simply adding over-the-top decorations throughout the club, Beta can exceed your expectations. The Ellie Caulkins Opera House, which opened on September 10, 2005, is located in Denver, Colorado as part of the large Denver Performing Arts Complex. It seats 2,225. The Caulkins family pledged $7 million towards the enhancement of the lyric opera house and adjacent public spaces which were constructed inside of the Newton Auditorium.History of the theatreThe Municipal Auditorium, the largest in America except for Madison Square Garden in New York, was completed in time to host the Democratic National Convention in 1908. Mayor Speer and the Chamber of Commerce raised $100,000 to celebrate the July 7 grand opening of the Auditorium with Denver's first national political convention, when William Jennings Bryan was nominated to run for President for the third time.Originally, the building was a multi-purpose structure: it accommodated concerts, operas, theatrical shows, conventions, basketball, auto shows and even circuses, with flags flying from its domes and light bulbs outlining its pediments, cornice, and corners. The proscenium of the original building was designed to be portable so as to create different-sized spaces for different events. When the proscenium was in place, the building was a 3,326 seat theatre with an extraordinarily large back stage area. When the proscenium was raised, increasing the seating capacity to 12,000, the stage and backstage area became large enough to hold circuses and rodeos.For several years in the 1920s and 30s, Music Week was an annual event in Denver. Various communities of the state presented musical programs and most of the performances were in the Auditorium. An opera or operetta was commonly included in the offerings.In 1921, a company of Denver musicians performed Flotow's Martha in May; of special historical significance was the fact that the two performances were broadcast by radio station 9ZAF, the first time ever that a full-length opera was broadcast.

Mile High Stadium was an outdoor multi-purpose stadium in the western United States, located in Denver, Colorado.It was built in 1948 for the Denver Bears baseball team, which was a member of the Western League during its construction. Originally designed as a baseball venue, the stadium was expanded in later years to accommodate the addition of a professional football team to the city, the Denver Broncos, as well as to improve Denver's hopes of landing a Major League Baseball team. Although the stadium was originally built as a baseball-specific venue, it became more popular as a pro-football stadium despite hosting both sports for a majority of its life.The Broncos called Mile High Stadium home from their beginning in the AFL in 1960 until 2000. The Bears, who changed their name to the Zephyrs in 1985, continued to play in the stadium until 1992 when the franchise was moved to New Orleans. The move was precipitated by the awarding of a Major League Baseball franchise to the city of Denver, and in 1993 the Colorado Rockies season opened in Mile High. The team played the 1993 and strike-shortened 1994 seasons in Mile High setting MLB attendance records while Coors Field was being constructed in downtown Denver.

The Corner Brook Civic Centre, previously named the Canada Games Centre and the Pepsi Centre, is a 3,100-seat multi-purpose arena in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It was home to the ice hockey, figure skating, judo, and squash events of the 1999 Canada Winter Games. The facility is currently being operated by Grenfell Campus, Memorial University through the Western Sports and Entertainment Board. The Pepsi Centre was the home arena of the Corner Brook Royals before they moved to Deer Lake. The facility also includes a second, smaller, arena to host small scale ice events, as well as the "Pepsi Studio" capable of hosting large-scale conferences and sporting events.On September 11, 2005, the Pepsi Centre played host to an exhibition game of the then newly formed St. John's Fog Devils (later the Montreal Junior Hockey Club, and now the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada) of the QMJHL versus the Ottawa 67's of the OHL. The arena played host to an AHL exhibition game between the St. John's IceCaps and the Syracuse Crunch on October 4, 2012, in Game 1 of the Mary Brown's Cup three-game series sponsored by Mary Brown's Famous Chicken & Taters, coinciding with the IceCaps' training camp for the 2012-13 AHL season.
