In the winter of 1964, Mario Vellotti emigrated from Naples, Italy to live and work on Mulberry Street in New York City. Mario made his early living tossing pizza and cooking in some of New York's most notorious kitchens; Angelo's, Casa Bella on Mulberry Street and Nanni Al Valletto on 59th Street. Later Mario joined his brother and uncle in the family business, opening their world-famous pizzerias in all five Burroughs, including Sal's on Broome Street, Bensonhurst's J & V and the original Patricia's in the Bronx. This includes all our sauces, dressings, dough, ricotta, sausage, as well as many bar items. Some of our sources include Field Roast, Olsen Farms, Zoe’s Artisan Cured Meats, Collin’s Family Orchard.
Neapolitan pizza embodies the essence of what authentic Italian pizza should be; soft, well cooked, fragrant and enclosed in a high, soft edge of crust. As a member of the Verace Pizza Napoletana Association, Via Tribunali respects the culinary discipline associated with making authentic Neapolitan pizza. Specific preparation, ingredients and method of cooking are essential to recreating the tradition of pizza as it began in Naples. Hand-kneaded dough, ingredients imported from Naples, and a wood-burning Vesuvius brick oven lend to the unique characteristics of Via Tribunali’s pizza. Neapolitan pizza is steeped in traditions dating back to 1730 when the first Marinara pizza (tomato, olive oil and oregano) was made. The Margherita pizza (tomato, olive oil, mozzarella and basil) was introduced in honor of Queen Margherita di Savoia’s visit to Naples in the early 1800’s. From this point on, trattorie, or what would later be called pizzerie, became popular among “i Napoletani” (the people). By the late 1800’s, Neapolitan pizza spread throughout the world as a result of immigrants and trade influences.
Bill's off Broadway has been serving the Capitol Hill area since 1980. We have never compromised the quality of our products, using only the freshest and best ingredients available. We make our own dough, grate our own cheese, and slice our own meats and vegetables. We feel as though this is the only way to assure quality and consistency. CenturyLink Field is a multi-purpose stadium in Seattle, Washington, United States. It is the home field for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL) and Seattle Sounders FC of Major League Soccer (MLS). Originally called Seahawks Stadium it became Qwest Field on June 23, 2004, when telecommunications carrier Qwest acquired the naming rights. It received its current name in June 2011 after Qwest's acquisition by CenturyLink. The complex also includes the Event Center with the WaMu Theater, a parking garage, and a public plaza. The venue hosts concerts, trade shows, and consumer shows along with sporting events. Located within a mile (1.6 km) of Seattle's central business district, the venue is accessible by multiple freeways and forms of mass transit.The stadium was built between 2000 and 2002 after voters approved funding for the construction in a statewide election held on June 17, 1997. This vote created the Washington State Public Stadium Authority to oversee public ownership of the venue. The owner of the Seahawks, Paul Allen, formed First & Goal Inc. to develop and operate the new facilities. Allen was closely involved in the design process and emphasized the importance of an open-air venue with an intimate atmosphere. The stadium is a modern facility with views of the skyline of Downtown Seattle. The stadium can seat 69,000 people.
