The Women of the West (W.O.W) is a community of women from various walks of life uniting in an effort to grow spiritually, mentally and physically. The ministry is designed to provide an environment of unity, peace, healing, deliverance, comfort and relaxation.

The EDGE Young Adult Ministry seeks to create and environment that allows you to grow in worship, the word, and fellowship every 1st and 3rd Friday at "Freefall Friday's" which begins at 7pm. The goal is to set an atmosphere where you can hear a relevant word and build real relationships with other Young Adults.

The Healthcare community makes a difference in the community as well as serving each Sunday at both services. They are the contact ministry for the pastoral care hotline. They compile the weekly Pastoral Care list and make the initial call to the bereavement ministry upon the death of members. They designate team members to visit those who are hospitalized, coordinate support for funerals held at FWBC, and serve throughout the community at many health fairs and other community events. Many highlights have occurred within this community such as Health screenings every 3rd Sundays; mammograms in February; and VITAS training for end-of-life care.

To provide services to those in need while assessing their social and human necessities for empowerment toward self improvement and transformation of their current condition.

DISCOVER is an acronym that means Developing Intellectually & Spiritually Children Of Vision, Excellence, & Righteiousness DISCOVER Children's Community (DCC) ministers to children from birth through 5th grade, ministers to the parents of these children, and ministers to the servants we minister through.

W.O.W. is designed for women of all ages to come together for the Women Of the West and discover biblical principles through innovative Bible study, panel discussions and relevant teaching from a woman’s perspective. Wheatland United Methodist Church has served the southwest Dallas County area including Oak Cliff, DeSoto, Duncanville, Cedar Hill, Lancaster, Red Oak, and Ovilla for over 150 years. Founded in 1847 the church was moved to its current location in 1859 and has continually served the community ever since. Located in the Oak Cliff section of Dallas, just near the border of DeSoto, Antioch has been actively in the community, spreading God’s message since 1986. We are a church committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ and committed to leading lost souls to the salvation of Christ. “We Build People.” Under the direction of Senior Pastor Dr. Karry D. Wesley, growing from a membership of 539 to more than 5,500, our church witnessed another blessing from God when we moved into our newly built facility in 2002. Light of the World Church of Christ (LWCC) was founded on August 1, 1999. Together Bishop Charles and Pastor Annette Leach are a dynamic duo with a MIGHTY call of God on their lives and those they teach.
