Founded in 2008 in New York City’s Chelsea Arts District, Joshua Liner Gallery presents an exciting roster of established and emerging artists from North America, Asia, and Europe. These fresh voices engage with the issues of today—globalism, new technology, politics, contemporary urban society, the environment—yet in dynamic dialogue with the histories and aesthetics of the past. Gallery artists reveal disparate influences but all share an affinity for pushing the boundaries of discipline and presentation. Joshua Liner Gallery represents the leading edge of contemporary art practices—new media, mixed-media sculpture, and collective models of production—as well as a focused program of contemporary easel painting. Above all, gallery artists reflect the cultural crosscurrents and decentralized reality of artmaking today.
Emmanuel Fremin Gallery is an art gallery founded in 2007, dedicated to a contemporary program that now represents more than a dozen emerging and mid-career artists. Committed to presenting primarily photographic work, the Gallery also embraces oeuvres from across all media including painting, sculpture, and installation. Since its inception, the Gallery has launched and fostered the careers of an eclectic group of artists, providing many of them with their first solo exhibitions in New York and, for some, their respective debuts in the United States. The distinctive signs of Emmanuel Fremin Gallery are proposals that invite to think about the society and the individual, maintaining a close look to the soulful engagement of each artist’s approach to their medium. There is strong cross-pollination between subjects ranging from identity and spirituality, space, architecture, design, and last but not least technology. We believe both form and content are vital factors in successfully aestheticizing the ‘real,’ which makes for the discovery of talented and committed artists. Our space in the heart of New York’s most popular gallery district acts as unconventional intercultural agent, fully encouraging the realizing of the artists’ provocative visions. The works we showcase share a deep commitment to the exploration and revelation of the essential values that underlie contemporary society. Each of them draws from a rich cultural heritage to develop a style and a visual language that is both powerful and universal. It is the Gallery’s vision to sustain the artists’ freedom of expression by exhibiting them in a setting that is fertile for both the artist and the collector alike. The robust nurturing of an active creative environment, in a neighborhood historically known for its artistic engagements, solidifies the Gallery’s mission to continue building an identity centered on the idea of an exigent ‘now’, paradoxically freed from a rigid canon of spatial and temporal demands, but always sensitive to an ever-evolving dynamic between art and an increasingly educated and inquisitive public. Since its inception, the Gallery has successfully maintained a rigorous exhibition schedule that features more than eight rotating exhibitions by our artists each year. As each artist continues to refine their voice, the expanding collection of ideas evolves, exponentially multiplying its reach.Alongside its internal programming, the Gallery places great importance on supporting their artists through fostering dialogue and relationships with public institutions, private foundations, museums, and commissioning bodies.

Founded in 2010, Cristin Tierney Gallery is a contemporary art gallery committed to the development and support of both established and emerging artists. The international exhibition program emphasizes critical theory and art history, with an attendant interest in under-recognized artists and art movements of the twentieth and twenty-first century.
Since 1997, Pavel Zoubok Gallery has specialized in collage, assemblage and mixed-media Installation. From the outset, the gallery’s program has presented modern and contemporary works in an effort to create a cohesive art historical context for collage and its related forms, spanning most of the major art movements of the postwar period. While the primary market has always been a driving force of our program, represented by a diverse group of gallery artists, we maintain an inventory of works by important proponents of the medium, including Hannelore Baron, Joe Brainard, Joseph Cornell, Al Hansen, Ray Johnson, Jiri Kolar, Mimmo Rotella, Anne Ryan, Jacques Villeglé and David Wojnarowicz. Since the gallery’s 2004 relocation to a ground floor space in the heart of Chelsea, we make a regular practice of publishing exhibition catalogues collaborating with numerous scholars and critics including Alexander Andersen-Spivy, Dan Cameron, Edward Gomez, Robert Hobbs, Charlotta Kotik, Carlo McCormick, Robert Rosenblum and Dickran Tashjian. Our audience continues to broaden and we continue to develop relationships with institutions. Museum associations have included Wadsworth Atheneum of Art, Brooklyn Museum, Katonah Museum of Art, New Britain Museum of American Art, Newark Museum, Norton Museum of Art, and others. In addition to our stated focus, we have also maintained a tangential but related interest in Surrealism, establishing an inventory of works by artists such as Max Ernst, Yves Tanguy, Roberto Matta, George Hugnet, Kay Sage and Stella Snead. In 2009, Pavel Zoubok Gallery was made a member of the ADAA (Art Dealer's Association of America).

Liz received a B.A. in Art History from Indiana University (’88) and then moved to New York City in 1989 to work at Schmidt-Bingham Gallery on 57th Street and attend Hunter College to pursue her Master’s in Art History. After completing her graduate coursework, she was appointed Co-Director of the gallery where she remained for 10 years. Garvey started her own fine art advisory firm, EKG Art Advisory, in 1999. She has assisted collectors from all parts of the country to establish and build art collections, and has helped many individuals purchase their first piece of fine art. Her approach is user-friendly and down-to-earth, offering clients a relaxed entry to the often intimidating visage of the New York art world. She has professional relationships with countless galleries, auction houses, private dealers and artists nationwide. After ten years as an art advisor, Liz longed to work more closely with artists again and to expand her business to include curating special exhibitions. The formation of Garvey Simon Art Access, Inc. with her sister Catherine in California, and the collaboration with Jacquie Littlejohn of Littlejohn Contemporary Art at Suite 207, adds this new dimension to the business. In 2013, she was elected to ArtTable, a national non-profit membership organization for professional women in leadership positions in the visual arts. Our space in Chelsea not only offers a quiet and relaxed environment to learn about art, but also a better way to serve existing clients who wish to sell works privately on the Secondary Market. The private viewing room can be used at any time by appointment to view works consigned from other dealers as well as the GSAA and LCA inventories. It offers a way for clients to see a wide variety of material in one spot instead of committing an entire afternoon to gallery hopping. Private, customized tours to see galleries throughout the city are also always available for clients who enjoy that experience. Consultations are always complimentary. In 1974 painters and print-makers founded Atlantic Gallery in Brooklyn as an artists' cooperative. In 1979 Atlantic Gallery migrated to SoHo, and in 2007 to Chelsea, having added photographers and sculptors to its community of emerging and established artists. 2012 saw Atlantic Gallery move further west to the Landmark Arts Building at 548 West 28th Street, close to a stairway to the High Line. The historic building, which also has an entrance at 547 West 27th Street, is home to more than two dozen art galleries. Born from the energy of ’70’s New York art scene, Atlantic Gallery exhibitions continue to focus on innovation and excellence. As an organization of independent artists, Atlantic Gallery is committed to supporting creative freedom and promoting professionalism.
Fred Torres Gallery works with artists, galleries, curators, and museums in producing and promoting exhibitions in New York and around the world. Since 1973 Heller Gallery has been recognized for playing a seminal role in promoting contemporary sculpture that employs glass as its touch stone medium. For nearly four decades Heller has exhibited the premier international artists working in glass and has been a valuable resource for artists, museums, collectors, public institutions and studios worldwide. Numerous artworks have entered prestigious public collections as a direct result of the Gallery’s exhibitions and advocacy. New York's Museum of Modern Art and Metropolitan Museum of Art have acquired works from the gallery for their collections as have The Corning Museum of Glass, The Los Angeles County Museum of Art and numerous museums abroad, including Victoria & Albert Museum, Musee des Arts Decoratifs de Louvre, and Hokkaido Museum, among others. The artists who exhibit at Heller work in a broad range of styles and techniques and explore subject matter equally diverse. Some take on the material itself, testing its limits in monumental sculptures or exploring its fundamental qualities in works that play with the interactions of color, light, transparency and form. Others are more interested in delving into emotion and myth or commenting on art history and do so in more expressive styles, casting figurative sculptures, painting on glass or composing elaborate assemblages of objects and images. Heller Gallery is an almost 7000 sq. ft. bi-level space located at 420 W.14th Street just down the street from the acclaimed new High Line Park. It is easily accessible by car, subway or bus: The West Side Hwy is two blocks away; there are several parking lots nearby and free parking on the street after 4pm. On foot the gallery is a short walk from the 14th Street stops on both the 8th Ave. and Broadway subway lines. With exhibitions featuring new work by both internationally acclaimed and emerging artists Heller Gallery remains a unique destination in New York City’s vibrant contemporary art scene.
