Baitul Hafeez Mosque is located in the historic community of Walnut Park East in North St. Louis. The Mosque was inaugurated in 2008 and is named after one of the more than 100 attributes of Allah (God) as described in the Holy Qur'an. In addition to both men and women's prayer areas, the mosque contains a versatile multipurpose space to host community functions. The facility is equipped to hold more than 300 worshipers. There is a library and a growing collection of Islamic books, magazines and resources. The mosque is the home to the Saint Louis chapter of the oldest Muslim American community. The community has moved around St. Louis for more than 60 years. Most recently they worshiped in the Al Sadiq mosque in Pine Lawn.

The Third Episcopal District of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church is made up of 3 Regions in Midwestern America. The Regions are the Kansas-Missouri Region, the Michigan-Indiana Region, and the Southeast Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin Region.

On January 8th an earthquake announced the manifestation of the returning spirit of Allah’s Prophet being manifested into human flesh. By this act of love Allah has distinguished these people with a particular favor, as he has given this distinction in the other families of man. (Sura 10, vs. 47) This particular blessing was that the time has come for them to have a Prophet, a messenger of God himself of them. His name at birth, Timothy Drew. Little is known of his early childhood nor of his father and mother’s true character. His father was a Moabite, and his mother a Cannanite; both soon passed out of his life. This we do know, he grew up as any Asiatic child. It is stated that his Aunt, who beat him often, once threw him into a blazing furnace but yet Allah saved him from the flames. Later on he ran away from home and one night while walking on the road, he heard a voice which stated, “Where thou goeth, I goeth.” As Timothy Drew was born through the new era of time in regards to his race relationship with others, that they had endured almost 400 years of slavery, and just 20 years before his birth, they were set free. This new era is called Up From Slavery. In the year 1886, there was a Divine Prophet born in the state of North Carolina. His name was Noble Drew Ali. A Prophet of Islam was sent also to the Moors of America, who were called Negroes. The duty of a prophet is to save nations from the wrath of Allah. As Noah and Lot were warners to the people of those days, Prophet Noble Drew Ali came to warn and redeem the Moors of America from their sinful ways. The nationality of Prophet Noble Drew Ali was Moorish American, the same as the people he came to uplift. The Prophet uplifted his people by teaching them the Truth-the truth as to their creed, and the truth as to their customs. He taught them to be themselves, and the things necessary ”to make better citizens” of men and women. He let them know that the Moorish-American are a part of this government, The United States, and they must obey the laws thereof. As a result the Moorish-Americans are good citizens, and an asset to the country also, they endeavor to uplift others who have fallen along the way of life, to redeem them so as to make them an asset to the government, rather than social detriments and wards of the government. Prophet Noble Drew Ali taught the people termed ”Negroes” in the United States are ”Asiatic” and specifically that they are Moorish whose forefathers inhabited Northwest and Southwest Africa before they were enslaved in North America. Marcus Garvey was given credit, by Prophet Noble Drew Ali, of being his forerunner. Garvey’s teachings about national issues were similar. Garvey stated in ”Philosophy and Opinions of Marcus Garvey”; ”we will have to build our own government, industry, and cultural, before the world will stop to consider us. ” Prophet Drew Ali passed in 1929.
