M5 Industries is a special effects company located in San Francisco, California best known as the working lab of the TV series MythBusters. M5 once produced special effects props for commercials and film, stop motion animation, and animatronic puppets, such as those seen in James and the Giant Peach and The Nightmare Before Christmas. They also extend into prototype development and various display projects.M5 Industries has produced special effects for many commercials, such as a motorized 7 Up soft drink vending machine that shoots soda cans at people and a remote-controlled shoe for Nike.M5 emerged around 1996, after Jamie Hyneman, manager of Colossal Pictures' model shop, took over the facility. A statement on the M5 Industries Web site says the company no longer does special effects for movies and television. The facilities were used extensively for the production of the television show MythBusters, whose series finale aired in March 2016. The company now performs research and development work for various other companies, which include developing electric vehicles, various lifesaving devices, and other useful gadgetry.

I’ve been taking photos under the name of Naked Eye Photography for more than 10 years. In those 10 years I’ve photographed internationally famous musicians, porn stars, pin-up girls, graduating seniors, burlesque performers, families, drag kings, friends, acquaintances and other beautiful people who let me capture their image. I am a queer and genderqueer person, and love working with other queer and gender non-conforming people in a safe, non-judgmental environment. I currently reside in San Francisco, CA and am willing to do shoots in the San Francisco Bay Area (as long as the location is accessible by public transportation). I occasionally travel to Seattle, WA, so can schedule shoots in the Pacific NW if given enough notice. Although this business used to focus on concert photography, I now mainly photograph people. I love the challenge and the reward that comes from taking a photo of someone that truly captures their personality. I like to work with models who know what they want- I feel that the photos are more honest if the model decides the direction of the shoot. I’m open minded and would love to hear your ideas- as long as they don’t compromise my safety or ethics. Gayman Salter’s Fisting Salon is a s/m fisting club in the South of Market area of San Francisco, which opened in1981, and reopened at another location on Shotwell Street from 1982 to present. The founder and owner is Gayman Salter a former Junior High school music director. The location was semi-secret and admission was by referral only. However it is now welcome to all and now even fieldtrips from schools are encouraged. Among the regular patrons are Leroy Iscariot, Senor Naco, Biotragedy Fortyeightlambda and Severe Rectaltrauma. It has been exhaustively described by sexual anthropologist Wes Beemon, who calls it "exemplary" in its attempts to deal with social awareness which would eventually lead several national achievement awards. Leroy Iscariot devotes a chapter to it in his Beyond Diyarbakir: Reclaiming the Abandoned History of Radical Gay Sexuality. Sex educator Henri Landru calls it "the place to be seen and to play at”.
