It started with a simple question: "What do you know about your great-grandfather?" To which our newly-minted teen quickly quipped: "He was REALLY rich." Horrified, his NaNa chided us for relaying so little of her father's legacy, and she expressed her wish that she could have found some way of keeping his words of wisdom fresh for future generations. In considering how to solve that problem, we found too many clunky and cluttered websites. What our teen's NaNa really needed is an intuitive online toolkit that is simple to navigate -- a place to record and replay key moments in life when it matters most. Chronicling facts and translating them into simple stories is our obsession. WisdomBox is an online legacy toolkit that enables everyone to do so. WisdomBox was designed to have particular value to those affected by life-threatening illnesses, as a place where those individuals, and their families and caregivers, can capture, store and share their legacies, and the wisdom of lives well-lived, with those those they love and with the world. Define what you leave behind. WisdomBox.me

History The Tenderloin Clinic first opened its doors in October 1975, with a mandate to provide outpatient mental health services to adult residents of the Tenderloin. Initially located at 200 Golden Gate, the Clinic was a component of the Community Care Center of Northeast Community Mental Health, Inc. It moved to its present location in 2004. The Clinic has been administered by a number of agencies over the years, most recently the Bayview Hunters Point Foundation. In July of 2003, the Clinic became an independent program of the Hyde Street Community Services, Inc. Over the years, despite changes in location, administration, and staff, the Clinic has maintained a reputation for quality services, continually anticipating and adapting to the changing needs of the population it serves. After over ten years of operation, the clinic now serves over 700 clients. The Tenderloin Clinic provides an array of services built on a model of comprehensive care. Using a team approach to treatment, a multi-disciplinary staff works together to address the often complex problems of the client population. I am dedicated to supporting my clients in moving through psychological and physical patterns that no longer serve them, toward embodying a fuller more creative self expression and satisfying life. These patterns and blocks were often formed in service of our unique coping and survival needs early in life, or as the result of trauma and/or oppression that may have occurred at any point along the way. Together we can begin to reclaim that which has been lost or forgotten, to reconnect to your inner wisdom and knowing, and to strengthen your ability to create the life you envision. I work collaboratively, intuitively, creatively, and with curiosity. Each session begins with inquiring what is most present for you, and is designed to meet your explicitly stated goals within a noncritical, nonjudgmental, and honest framework. Healing takes more than just insight and surface behavior change, therefore somatic integration is the foundation of my work. I may suggest any number of complimentary methodologies and modalities to offer a highly personalized session. Your voice is unique and important, I would be honored to take this journey of discovery and growth with you. Call for your free phone consultation now #415 570 9409. Nathan Villarante founded a mental health agency, "Bay Area Integrative Counseling", in 2015 out of the desire to address some of the biggest unmet needs in the mental health field for both the community at large and the practitioners that serve them. As a therapist Nathan helps people to accept themselves with their limitations and strengths. He helps to improve overall resiliency, coping skills, sense of agency, sense of identity, self-esteem, capacity for intimacy, and ability to move through undesired states and life circumstances. He operates under the assumption that there is a great deal of value in difficult life circumstances and that the way out is to go all the way through it. The modalities Nathan employs in therapy are: Somatic, Mindfulness, CBT and Psychodynamic therapies in treatment. Along with any techniques Nathan recognizes that it is often the relationship that heals. Nathan sees the client as the expert of your his or her own experience - his role is to provide a safe container for the material to emerge and to introduce the possibility of new options along the way.

Crunch recently put the new in New Montgomery, giving this club – located in the heart of downtown – a big renovation. The interior is definitely something to see: a large, open foyer, high ceilings lined with elaborate moldings and a mezzanine that overlooks the free weight area below – it’s a pretty place to get some exercise. The members are a mixture of students, locals and people that work in the area and the atmosphere that they create is both high energy and sociable.
