So you want to know where the logo came from? The original Yak-Zies saloon opened in 1966 in a dimly lit basement on West Diversey Prky. Two years later the logo was developed via our way of life. Picture the sun rising over the horizon of Lake Michigan around 5 a.m. on any given Sunday summer morning and you're walking up out of a basement. The face on the logo could be me, you or anyone else who may have spent their evening imbibing in our underground environment. We have all made it home to look in the mirror and see those blood shot eyes staring back at us, half mast as we placed a cool ice pack on top of our cranial area. Explanation: The morning after! In 1990 Yak-Zies Wirgleyville opened it's doors just a stones throw from historic Wrigley Field. 25 years later you can still find the number 1 Cubs party in town located at 3710 North Clark St. 25 years in the history books & 25 years of stories to tell!

We offer Private sails for groups of up to 6 guests, and some of our ships can legally take up to 10 guests. No matter what you are looking for, we can arrange it. Catering, special requests, arrangements for surprises, free parking for private charters, and unparalleled customer service. We also offer semi-private sailing for guests that want to share a sailboat with others. Our standard semi-private sails are Mon-Thu at 7pm, and Sat-Sun at 9am. Semi-private sailing for two people is $260. All our ships are moored at slips, so when you arrive for your sail, you will park near our gate, and your captain will walk up the dock to the locked gate and bring you to your ship.
