St. Louis, Missouri is also the headquarters for the AB InBev North America unit.HistoryBeginnings and national expansionIn 1852, German American brewer and saloon operator George Schneider opened the Bavarian Brewery on Carondelet Avenue (later known as South Broadway) between Dorcas and Lynch streets in South St. Louis. Schneider's brewery expanded in 1856 to a new brewhouse near Eighth and Crittenden streets; however, the following year financial problems forced the sale of the brewery to various owners during the late 1850s. In 1860, the brewery was purchased on the brink of bankruptcy by William D'Oench, a local pharmacist, and Eberhard Anheuser, a prosperous German-born soap manufacturer. D'Oench was the silent partner in the business until 1869, when he sold his half-interest in the company. From 1860 to 1875, the brewery was known as E. Anheuser & Co., and from 1875 to 1879 as the E. Anheuser Company's Brewing Association.Adolphus Busch, a wholesaler who had immigrated to St. Louis from Germany in 1857, married Eberhard Anheuser's daughter, Lilly, in 1861. Following his service in the American Civil War, Busch began working as a salesman for the Anheuser brewery. Busch purchased D'Oench's share of the company in 1869, and he assumed the role of company secretary from that time until the death of his father-in-law.
The Thomas F. Eagleton United States Courthouse is the largest single courthouse in the United States. It is the main office of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. It was named after the U.S. Senator Thomas F. Eagleton.The courthouse is 29 stories tall and covers 987775sqft. It is the fifth tallest habitable building in Missouri. It is located in downtown St. Louis at 111 South 10th Street. The exterior of the courthouse follows a classical tripartite scheme, a scheme that uses the split-level stacking concept. Its height is 557ft. The construction of the building was completed in 2000. The architects involved with the building were Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum and EDM Incorporated. The building cost $186,000,000 to build.

Brown Shoe Company's Homes-Take Factory is a historic building location at 1201 Russell Boulevard in the Soulard neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. Built in 1904, by architect Albert B. Groves, the building was originally a factory for the Brown Shoe Company. During the Great Depression, the factory was permanently mothballed. In 1954, the property was bought by the International Hat Company, which converted the building into a warehouse. The Mexican Hat Factory purchased a separate part of the building and converted the section into office space. International Hat warehouse operated until 1976. That same year, the entire building was sold to the Junior Achievement of the Mississippi Valley. By 1980, the building was bought by Allen Market Lane Apartments. On October 20, 1980, the building was formally added to the National Register of Historical Places. Since 1980, the property has operated as a senior and disabled living center, with 100 units.ArchitectureThe Homes-Take factory was originally designed to be a four story, rectangular red brick building, measuring sixty by three hundred feet. The building occupies approximately one half of a city block. A dominant feature of the architectural design is the closely spaced windows, ten feet by three-and-a-half feet.
