We are happy to announce that the SoWa Open Market will be back at its usual location this Spring & Summer. Open every Sunday, from 10 am - 4 pm, the SoWa Open Market draws thousands of visitors from across New England, eager to sample the regions' best collection of local artisans, farmers, food trucks and specialty food vendors.
Founded in 2009 by Kate and James Wormser, Lot F Gallery has been filling a void in Boston's gallery selection, dedicating itself to our artists and the community. As a pillar in the local gallery scene, we give truly talented, new contemporary artists a platform to shine on and show their cutting edge works to collectors and art enthusiasts. Located in an industrial loft near South Station, the gallery is open most Saturdays, and by appointment.
The Distillery Gallery is an art gallery and project space located in South Boston, with a focus on promoting interesting and engaging art, working with artists from the Distillery, Boston, and beyond. The Gallery is on the first floor of The Distillery , a community of artists, artisans, and small businesses located in a converted rum warehouse building in South Boston. For more than twenty years The Distillery has been a hub of creativity and the arts in the city.
The SOWA Artists Guild is a non-profit association of professional studio artists. The Guild promotes the diversity and individuality of the artists working in this flagship space, 450 Harrison Ave, the center of the SOWA Arts District.
Fort Point’s dynamic new Boston Button Factory is a homage to the vibrant history of a neighborhood that is rapidly changing its character. Blending the industrial and artistic strands which dominated its past, the BBF looks to keep this past alive by manufacturing huge artistic renderings of buttons which are used as stand-alone pieces as well as parts of larger exhibits. The impetus of the BBF came when vintage photos were found which documented the original use of the building by the Boston Button Co., a button manufacturer which dissolved in 1872. In a nod to yesterday, the BBF harkens back to the days before cubicles, condos, and fancy restaurants to create a space where buttons are created, by hand, in large numbers through hard work and care. FP3 Gallery is housed on the first floor of FP3 Residences, a renovated 19th century warehouse building. The Congress Street building was redeveloped in 2009 by Berkeley Investments, with design by noted architect David Hacin, of Hacin & Associates. FP3 Gallery focuses on solo exhibitions of outstanding Boston-area artists and is located in Fort Point, a thriving center of arts, culture, and culinary creativity.
Following a decade on Newbury Street, Lanoue Fine Art is becoming, Lanoue Gallery. We have moved to the Arts District in Boston's South End. The gallery is located in a beautiful 4,000 square foot renovated warehouse and features contemporary painting, sculpture, photography and mixed media, by artists from around the world.

Our Largest Programs The Massachusetts Poetry Festival Three days of readings, workshops, panels, performances, and celebrations. Our 2014 festival will be held May 2, 3, and 4 in Salem, MA. Statewide Student Day of Poetry Each year, we bring students together for an intensive day of poetry workshops and performances. Our 2014 SDOP will be held March 21st at UMass Boston. In-School Student Days of Poetry We take the elements of Statewide Student Day of Poetry on the road, directly into middle and high schools across the state. Common Threads We produce ~10 poems by Massachusetts poets, videos, and a guide to reading and discussing the poems, as well as carrying out local outreach to organize hundreds of readings and discussion groups. Published each April. Hear Here: Poetry in Public Spaces We hold poetry readings in public spaces with high foot traffic, allowing people to experience poetry without having to seek it out themselves. U35 Reading Series Starting in May 2014, we will be taking over U35, a reading series for poets under the age of 35, founded by Daniel Pritchard of Boston Review and The Critical Flame. Held every other month at Marliave in Downtown Crossing.
