We all love to listen to music, especially a live performance. Learning how to play the piano is a wonderful outlet for creativity, and also gives you a wonderful sense of accomplishment. Sometimes you need to find a pianist for a special event, like a wedding or a performance. I am an accomplished pianist with degrees in piano performance from the University of Missouri-Columbia and the University of Notre Dame. I have taught piano to students of all ages and abilities for over 20 years, as well as played in weddings and accompanied many instrumentalists and vocalists. I love providing instruction and encouragement to my students, and the joy of live music to brides and grooms. I am accepting students at all levels, from children to adults. It is never too late to start to learn. I teach both traditional and Suzuki methods. Hours: By appointment Rates: Piano Lessons 30 minutes - $20* 60 minutes - $40* *I can come to your home to teach for the additional fee of $5 plus mileage from my location to yours. We may set up lessons weekly or biweekly. Piano Accompanist Performance at concert - $60 plus mileage and cost of music score, if not provided (includes one rehearsal) Additional rehearsals - $20 for 30 minutes, billed in half hour increments* *If rehearsal takes place anywhere besides my studio location, cost of mileage will be added Weddings $125 plus mileage - includes one rehearsal at wedding location Additional rehearsals - flat fee of $40 plus mileage
