In 1947, Maxfield Candy Company started as a small, hand chocolate-making operation in the heart of Salt Lake City, Utah. Company founders, Vard Maxfield and Ray Johnson had one goal in mind: to produce the “finest chocolates in creation.” Maxfield’s quickly became a favorite treat west of the Rockies, with chocolates including assorted chocolates, pecan logs, cream sticks, fudge eggs, mint sandwiches and more. Maxfield Candy Company has grown from a regional brand to the national stage, but it hasn’t outgrown its heritage.
