Beercade. Like the name says, we've got beer and we've got arcades. We're always rotating both so nothing gets stale. Want to take a walk down down memory lane? We've got games for that. Want to put the trash talk aside, grab a stick and show your friends your skills? We've got that too. Want to throw a wooden ball into a bunch of holes? We have that as well.

Via Will S. on Yelp July 2013 The owner decked out this divey Benson spot with decorations from his father's basement bar. It feels homy and warm when you walk in, especially basking in the glow of one of those vintage animated Hamm's Beer signs. The staff are great and can tell you what's going on in the neighborhood on any given night. The tap selections are always changing, but there's something for everyone - Coors Light to local craft beer. Plenty of additional bottled craft beer as well. Prices are reasonable. There's live music or comedy here most nights of the week, so don't be surprised if you're asked to pay a cover. The music venue side of the bar has tables and chairs, a nice stage and a recently updated sound system. It's a great place to have an intimate night out enjoying local music. I love the Barley Street Tavern and have always felt at home here. They even have a resident bar cat who hangs out most of the time. You don't find things like that at many other places, and it only adds to Barley Street's uniqueness and charm. It's an Omaha gem.

Hello and welcome to the Jerry's Bar Page! A little bit about the place: Rob Rutar, long-time Omaha bartender, bought Jerry's in March of 2012. Dedicated to creating a fun bar-going experience for his patrons, he has put a great staff behind the bar, great tunes on the jukebox, a liquor/beer selection second-to-none and decorated the place in a fashion that would make your grandparents jealous. Jerry's is your new favorite bar. I cannot tell you how many times a newcomer has said that when he/she walks in, has a drink and sizes the place up. It's a fact: you will love it! We have 19 beers on tap, about fifty different bottles in the cooler and our liquor selection is top shelf, yet very reasonably priced. If you have never tried some tequilas or whiskeys, Jerry's is the place to do it. Like we say: it is Happy Hour all the time at Jerry's! Rob is always working for the betterment of Jerry's--as a dedicated owner, he has totally revamped the place from wall to wall with new booths, bar stools and a beautiful patio. He loves to throw parties where all are welcome--from Oktoberfest to Husker Games, no one throws a party like Rob! He also is behind the bar many nights out of the week, so come up and meet him! We are so proud to call Jerry's our home, and our doors are always open so you can settle in and call it home too. We cannot wait to see you!

We have a more than ample selection of whiskey, including what is maybe THE LAST Pappy Van Winkle 20yr in town from the 2014 release. Twenty five taps line the wall with craft beer, but we also have a large selection of cans, including domestics. Televisions are everywhere, yet tastefully presented and the screens at every booth are controllable from the booth itself. We have virtually every sports package available. You can watch Red Sox vs Yankees while the booth next to you watches the WNBA. . . or even the Golden Girls. We offer veteran's discounts and a daily special of $3 Tennents Lager pints. We're set apart by being able to cater to the casual drinker or the expert connoisseur of the Manhattan. Once you stop in you'll understand. It's Benson.

Nearby hotel: Econo Lodge West Dodge 7833 W Dodge Rd, Omaha, NE 68124 402-391-7100 . . . . _________________________________________________________ . . . . FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) Why do you charge $100? Nightclubs and bars make their money off of selling alcohol. Unlike nightclubs, The Lair does not have a bar. Our ONLY income is the money that we charge for renting the venue for a night. All Ages music venues are very hard to come by, and we provide our venue for much cheaper than the competitors to make it affordable for ANYONE to hold their own concert! So you make bands pay to play? The Lair doesn't make bands pay to play. We have a low cost to rent the building so it makes it easy for people to be promoters. You put together an entire show without a band paying a dime just as long as whoever is the "promoter" pays the rent. Why do you require payment in advance? Their are some very good reasons why The Lair requires you to pay the rental fee in advance. It is for our protection. Unlike nightclubs, The Lair does not have a bar. Our ONLY income is the money that we charge for renting the venue for a night. We have a difficult enough time just trying to make ends meet. We cannot afford to be "stiffed" of a payment. Unfortunately, a lot of promoters and bands do very little to promote their shows, and thus, they are poorly attended. When a show has poor attendance, the promoter does not make enough money from the door (admission) to pay us our rent. By requiring our payment in advance, it removes the risk of us not getting paid our rent money. It places all the responsibilty on the promoter to properly promote the show and get a decent turnout. Of coarse we'll help with the promotion too, but, ultimately, it's the promoters responsibility. Why do you not refund 100% of the money if a show cancels? Once again it is for our protection. We have a hard enough time making ends meet as it is. If someone reserves a date and then later cancels, often it is too late to sell that night again, and thus we are "stiffed". Also, some clever yet shady promoters have been known to book a show at another venue, and then reserve that date at other venues with no intention of actually having a show at those venues. That way they are insured of not having other competing shows that night at other venues. Then they cancel the other reservations at the last minute when it's too late for those venues to book a different show instead. No promoter is going to want to try that shady tactic at our venue if they know it is going to cost them $50-100!!!

FolkHouse is a concert series hosted in our home. It offers music lovers an opportunity to experience live intimate concerts by top-notch professional touring musicians in a comfortable and friendly "listening room" environment. No clanking bar glasses, noisy espresso machines or other distractions here; just a relaxed and comfortable smoke-free setting where the guests are here for the music! Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of opportunities to socialize with the performers and other music fans at FolkHouse. We are all about having a great time! ALL proceeds go to the performers. We are not a business and do not take ANY money from our concerts. FolkHouse is a labor of love that gives us great pleasure by opening our home to like-minded music lovers and the artists we enjoy. Sorry, we are not wheelchair accessible, this is our private residence, but if a person with disabilities would like to attend a concert, we will do all we can to accommodate. Since the concerts are in our home, seating is limited. Please call or email to get on our invitation list. If you would like to be added to our email invitation list or placed on the guest list for an upcoming concert, please send an email to [email protected]
