In residence at the Stadium Theatre Performing Arts Center since 1997, The Encore Repertory Company, the Stadium Theatre’s in-house repertory company, has produced and performed over 50 Broadway style reviews and full-scale major musicals. To my Dear group of local Artists and Craftsmen who are participating in the Holiday Pop Up Art Studio Shop in the city of Woonsocket for the end of the month of November and all of December. I am glad to have you be part of the group. Thank You for showing interest in selling your work in Woonsocket RI "An Up and Coming Art Center". We will be in the back of the renovated old Mulveys Paint and Hardware store facing River Island Park here in the city. There will be a small fee of $ 75 for the month. We will have the space in the gallery area for smaller artists and craftsmen and the lower studio space for larger works for sale and display. Bathrooms and a Coffee Pot are available for your connivance. We will open in conjunction with the times and days of the Polar Express and the Main Street Stroll to draw in the community and the public from outside the city to this cozy little building and business. My name is Dan Jaquith, I am a recording engineer from Woonsocket, Rhode Island. I have loved music all my life and I love to bring music to people in any way that I can. I started playing music when I was about eleven. I've played in multiple bands throughout my life, starting with my parent's band, of course. I started out playing drums for them, but switched to guitar later on. I've played in the Worship Team at my church since 2004, playing drums, bass, and guitar whenever needed, and now I have taken over the Worship Leader position. These past couple of years I have found a new way for me to bring music to people's lives. Recording. In 2013, I took a 6 month course from Recording, Radio, Film Connection and graduated with a Bachelor's Equivalent Certificate in Audio Engineering/Music Production. Rise Above Studios is the name I gave my business because I want to help people rise above their circumstances. I believe music can lift people's spirits in a way that nothing else can. It can give people who feel like there is nothing else they can do in life something to strive for. It can give people dreams and hopes beyond what they could imagine.

This business was founded by Katie Lynn Corticelli in June of 2013. It all began in 2012 at a festival in Maine where I had my first experience watching an artist work with glass. I felt fascinated by the process and watched the artist work for hours. It didn't take long before I found myself falling in love with flameworking. I spent nearly a year studying the art from a distance before I finally jumped on board. In March of 2013, I worked with molten glass for the first time at Pass the Glass Studios. It was there that I rented out my first studio bench where I learned the fundamental skills from artist Ed Hauser. From there I have been working in a home studio where I create all the items you see on this page and at my shows. Glass has become passion that exceeds all others in my world and I feel privileged to be a creator. I spend the majority of my time creating one-of-a-kind items, but I am happy to do custom orders as well! You can find me nearly every weekend at a craft show or market with all of my wares. I even do live glass demonstrations at many of them! At these demos, you can watch your own item be created before your very eyes! It is a unique and exciting performance that ignited my love for glass art. I hope that it will bring all of you the same wonderful experience. You can also find me doing collaborations with the talented fellows at Gather Glass Studios. I even work with them during some live demonstrations at Waterfire Providence! Glass Sails has been the most amazing experience for me. I appreciate all of the support I get from my boyfriend, my friends, my family, and everyone I meet at markets and fairs. I hope that Glass Sails can grow and bring joy, entertainment, knowledge, and passion to many!
