New Life Village, an inter-generational community designed for families raising foster and adopted children. New Life Village was founded by Sister Claire LeBoeuf, of the Congregation of the Sisters of Holy Cross. Sister Claire also founded New Life Dwelling Place and Everyday Blessings in her three decades of serving children who have been abused or neglected and improving the child welfare system on their behalf. New Life Village offers a supportive environment where the residents come together to raise the adopted and foster child. Village residents have either adopted a child or are in the process. Several seniors also call the village home and they serve as adoptive grandparents and volunteers serving the children and the mission. We offer subsidized rent on town homes in our village to assist these families. We also offer tutoring, year round child-centered events, counseling, support groups and other resources to assist our families.
