Originating in 1922, we are believed to be the largest continuing education program in the country. One week during August, the program utilizes the campus of Brigham Young University (Provo, Utah) to present more than 1,000 classes on education, religion, marriage, family relations, health, history, genealogy, science, youth interests, and many other areas. The program is designed primarily for adults, although anyone age 14 and over may attend. Program Dates August 15–19, 2016 Faculty Each year over 200 faculty members from Brigham Young University, instructors from Seminaries and Institutes of Religion of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and other experts in their field come to share their message. A highlight of the program each year is a campus devotional that traditionally features a General Authority from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The devotional is open to the general public. Class Times (subject to change) Classes begin each day at 8:30 a.m., with the last classes ending at 4:05 p.m. on Monday, and classes ending at 9:25 p.m. Tuesday-Friday. Most classes are 55 minutes in length. Breaks between classes are 25 minutes. All classes are first-come, first-seated (i.e., no registration is required for a particular class). Registration Various registration options are available. Early registration begins in April and continues until the Friday before the program. At-the-door registration is available during the program. With numerous registration options, individuals are able to register for the week, a day, or just a few hours. There's nothing like being on campus for this great event! Whether you can come for the week or just a few hours, we invite you to campus to be instructed by excellent faculty, enjoy the atmosphere, and share in all that makes this week a wonderful experience for those who attend! Special Performances On Tuesday through Friday, three different performances are presented nightly. These generally consist of popular plays, musical performances, or other wholesome entertainment. These performances are not part of the regular class offerings and are separate ticketed events. Youth Dance A youth dance takes place on Thursday evening where approximately 1,200 young men and women gather in their Sunday best.

Since 1958, American Indian Services has been providing scholarships and other needed services to Native Americans. AIS makes educational opportunities possible for qualifying Native American students who otherwise could not afford it. We provide more than 2300 scholarships annually. Students qualify for participation based on academic merit as well as financial need. The Result: Native American graduates who will lead their tribal communities into a hopeful future. AIS scholarship participants are receiving education in more than 300 colleges across the United States and Canada. Students have the opportunity to select the accredited school which meets their individual needs. Other AIS projects include: student outreach programs, seminars and workshops, leadership training, youth programs, community development, economic development, farming and gardening projects, and other educational programs. Headquartered in Provo, Utah, AIS is governed by a volunteer executive board which includes educators, business people, and community leaders from across the country. Additionally, satellite boards have been established in Arizona, California, New Mexico, Nevada, Idaho, and Southern Utah. These boards oversee the operation of AIS in their geographical areas, provide community projects and educational seminars, assist students with scholarship applications, and organize various fundraising events. All money received from donors goes directly to our programs for Native Americans. Administrative costs are minimal and are completely covered by donations from board members.
IHHELPP was born by the simple desire to improve the lives of the poor and unfortunate. The Philippines are a hot spot for natural disasters, and many families are displaced and left with nothing. We grew from family-based projects of giving school supplies and hygiene kits to needy Filipino children and families in 2006. Such efforts developed into a charitable foundation formed collectively by friends and associates who share the same vision and desire.
BYU Tutoring Services offers free volunteer peer-to-peer tutoring for all classes taught on campus. Tutors help reinforce concepts covered in class and assist students in developing essential learning skills. All tutors have achieved a B grade or higher in classes they tutor and have been oriented on essential tutoring skills. "Take a little time now and again to reach out to help others," President Hinckley told the students. "You who are extremely able, you who learn with comparative ease, reach down to those who have greater difficulty in mastering academic material that is relatively easy for you. In so doing you will bless your own life as you bless the lives of those you help. "A little tutoring can do wonders for someone who does not quite comprehend. It will do wonders for you as you give of yourself and your knowledge to bless another." -President Gordon B. Hinckley
