PUBLIC WORKS "Givin' the People what they Want" a multifaceted event and community space in San Francisco's Mission District. Public Works consists of a performance/event space, bar, art gallery and artist work shop/community room. From DJ oriented Club Parties and live bands to independent film screenings,performance art and random creative Outbursts, Public Works is a Hangout, a Happening, an Adventure. The art gallery provides a space where the work of local SF based artists can mingle with both the up and coming art star and the budding savant. We encourage the growth of art and creativity in the Mission and San Francisco as a whole and are intent to provide a forum and a physical space for both. As part of our commitment to the Neighborhood we will donate a portion of our proceeds to various local non profits in addition to assisting them with promotions and events. Root Division ( http://rootdivision.org/ ) , a non profit which brings art classes to kids in schools that can't afford programs is a current beneficiary. Established in 1991, Catharine Clark Gallery exhibits the work of contemporary artists. A wide range of media is represented in the gallery’s program with an emphasis on content driven work. The gallery has pioneered the presentation of new media art in San Francisco, and is the first commercial gallery in the area with a dedicated media room. Exhibitions are hosted on a six-week schedule, featuring work by one or two solo artist in addition to media room installations. Additionally the gallery regularly participates in national and international art fairs. The gallery re-located to 248 Utah Street September 7, 2013. In the meantime. This new location, again designed by Los Angeles based Tim Campbell, is within the neighborhood of the San Francisco Design Center and Showplace Square. Catharine Clark Gallery will add to the emerging cultural character of Potrero Hill, which currently includes California College of the Arts (CCA), the CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts, and the Museum of Craft and Design. In 2010, Catharine Clark Gallery opened a pop up space in a residential apartment in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood (313 West 14th Street, 2F, between 8th and 9th Avenues). Exhibits, performances and installations of gallery artists’ work are presented at the New York location several times a year.

With a background in law, non-profit arts administration and art dealing, Todd Hosfelt opened his gallery in San Francisco in 1996. Former museum curator and current partner Dianne Dec joined the gallery in 1997. In 2012, Hosfelt expanded and relocated to a 9,000 sq. ft. former door factory in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill neighborhood, forming the nucleus of the new DoReMi arts district. Hosfelt Gallery's program is built around artwork with a refined level of execution that offers new perspectives on critical discourses in contemporary art, culture, and politics. We represent an international roster of emerging to established artists whose work is grounded in a broad understanding of history — visual, cultural, political and social. Their idiosyncratic synthesis of knowledge and skill results in artworks that allude to tradition while incorporating new ideas, materials and methods.

Hole In The Wall opened during April of 1994 in the heart of San Francisco’s South of Market district. Fourteen years later we packed up and moved two blocks, to Folsom Street. 1369 Folsom Street to be exact. We welcome everybody (except moochers, bigots, and speed freaks) and have drink specials for those on two wheels. Above all we’re about good music and down to earth people.
Bergerac takes its inspiration from the legendary Villa Nellcote, an old French mansion where the rolling stones recorded their seminal album "Exile on Main Street." The 2,000-square-foot space, previously home to a glass-blowing studio and a historic printing press, will showcase 15-foot floor-to-ceiling windows and a thoughtful, clean design aesthetic by Napa-based ShopWorks. Interiors reveal exposed brick walls and concrete floors, while leather banquets line the perimeter of the room. Cellarmaker Brewing Company has been in the works for quite some time. Look for our beers to start making their way around better known beer bars and beer focused restaurants in San Francisco starting in September. We have a tasting room in the same building as the brewery and will offer tasters, pints, and growlers. Some beers may be bottled further down the line but for now it's all draft. The only way you can take our beer away is in the form of a growler - which by the way, is a great way to drink beer! Look for a focus of plenty of hoppy beers, belgian-style saisons, dark beers, and sour beers. We are huge fans of wine and bourbon barrel aged beers as well so it's only natural for us to have a barrel program. Think bourbon barrels loaded with big chewy imperial stouts, excessively hopped IPAs, fruited sour beers, and funky saisons. This is what we love. This is what we are all about. We hope you are too!
