The Department of Physical Therapy offers two doctoral level degrees; a three year, entry level clinical doctoral degree the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and an academic doctoral degree (PhD) in Physical Therapy.

The Gamma Phi chapter of Sigma Chi was founded in 1942 and has been actively involved on UM's campus for over 75 consecutive years. The International Studies (IS) program is the result of memoranda of understanding with the governments of France, Italy and Spain and is the only program of its kind in the United States. Students pursue world language studies in addition to an academic curriculum with an international focus that addresses rigorous standards of both United States and European Union educational systems. In addition to the study of core subject areas in English, students receive up to three hours of instruction in the modern language: French, Italian or Spanish. Students pursue studies in literature, history and geography taught in the modern language and are encouraged to work at the highest levels in Honors and Advanced Placement (AP) courses. This program offers students the opportunity to receive dual recognition of their studies, a US high school diploma and the equivalent diploma from the European country.

The seven buildings that comprise the University Village community are the newest residential facilities on the Coral Gables campus. Village residency is limited to only full-time juniors and seniors with 60+ academic credits completed-summer residency does not require students to be taking academic course. Within the various individual buildings there are five different apartment models ranging from one bedroom/one bath up to four bedroom/four bath layouts. With the exception of the four bedroom/two bath model, each of the other apartment models has private bedrooms with full-sized beds and an affiliated full, private bathroom. Each apartment is fully furnished throughout, including kitchen appliances like a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and microwave. A washer & dryer is also included in each apartment. Carpeting is provided in each bedroom along with the common area (living/dining room) and ceramic tile in the kitchen and bath areas.

Here at the Child and Adolescent Mood and Anxiety Treatment Program, we are dedicated to providing state-of-the-art assessment and treatment services for youth and families in South Florida. Directed by Dr. Jill Ehrenreich-May and located in Coral Gables, FL on the University of Miami campus, we offer services to the community through research studies on evidence-based treatments and on a sliding scale basis. In addition to group and individual services, we also provide intensive cognitive behavioral treatments for youth phobias, panic disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder, as well as informative workshops and discussions of our research and clinical practice to clinicians on both local and national levels.

Alex Rodriguez Park at Mark Light Field is a baseball stadium on the University of Miami campus in Coral Gables, Florida, United States. It is the home field of the University of Miami Hurricanes baseball team. The stadium holds a capacity of 5,000 spectators. The first game was held on February 16, 1973.Miami fan George Light donated money for the field's construction. Mark Light Field is named for George Light's son, Mark Light, who died of muscular dystrophy. Following a $3.9 million contribution by New York Yankees All-Star Alex Rodriguez, the facility was renovated in 2007-2009 and renamed.In 2013, the Hurricanes ranked 26th among Division I baseball programs in attendance, averaging 2,635 per home game.
