The HEAL (Healthy Eating, Active Living) Partnership is the City of St. Louis Department of Health's response to the growing rate of chronic disease mortality. This Partnership, comprised of over 40 local organizations, works to increase access to physical activity opportunities, healthy eating, and increase access to health care to reduce the rate of obesity and overweight in the City of St. Louis.
The Saint Louis Mental Health Board is a special tax district in the City of St. Louis as set forth by state statute. The Saint Louis Mental Health Board is the Substance Abuse/Mental Health and Children’s Services authority for the City of St. Louis. As such, MHB administers public funds for behavioral health and children’s services for the benefit of city residents. MHB administers these funds by investing in community programs, projects, partnerships and initiatives that are focused on supporting city residents to achieve positive results and/or experience favorable impacts. MHB does not provide direct services – please refer to our Community Investments and Resources pages for information on direct service programs.
