The Brandywine Festival of the Arts is a 2-day art and craft fair in Wilmington, Delaware. Formerly known as the Brandywine Arts Festival, the event experienced a revival in 2010 with record crowds and great reviews from artists and visitors. We've got something for everyone: 250 artists exhibiting one-of-a-kind work in a wide range of styles and price ranges, live music, a children's tent, a great selection of local food vendors, and craft beer and wine. The Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts, rebranded in December 2015 to The Delaware Contemporary, is Delaware’s only contemporary art museum. Founded in 1979, and formerly called the DCCA, it is a non-collecting museum focused on work by local and regional as well as national and international artists.The Delaware Contemporary moved from the former waterworks building near downtown to the Christina riverfront in Wilmington, Delaware in 2000.
