Harpo Productions is an incorporated US-based multimedia production company founded by Oprah Winfrey and is the sole subsidiary of her media and entertainment company, Harpo, Inc. Harpo Productions's subsidiaries consist solely of Harpo Print, LLC . One of its subsidiaries, Harpo Films, was shut down in early 2013. Another, Harpo Radio, was shut down January 1, 2015 after satellite radio provider SiriusXM decided not to renew the deal with the radio service. The company also counts in its holdings 50% of the Oprah Winfrey Network . It was based in Chicago, and Harpo Studios was located in the Near West Side neighborhood of Chicago until the studios closed in 2015. Harpo Productions and OWN are both currently based in West Hollywood, California.

As a Senior Interior Designer and Manager of Hospitality projects for over ten years, we look to many outlets of inspiration, but I have always said: "Interiors' follow fashion", and for one night only we plan on reversing that in an effort to support and inspire the Fashion Industry during Chicago Fashion Focus Week... Collins Designs & Co. and a Laura Elvis present: “Fashion Follows Interiors: A Mad Men Event” Twenty selected Designers will create a Mad Men inspired garment for début at our fashion evening and networking event from interior design materials. This much anticipated event of 400+ will be raising awarded monies and student scholarships for the Columbia school of Arts and NEWH (National Education Hospitality Design Industry) through a deconstructed runway contest between 20 participates using Interior Design products from our great Chicago Merchandise Mart to create a 1960's inspired garment. These garments will be debuted the night of the event while you enjoy cocktails, h'orderves and the sounds of Elisa Hunt (songs of Ella Fitzgerald) and a guest DJ with elegant 60's interpretation at the historic Blackstone Hotel ballroom and gallery. The attire and overall tone is chic, cocktail-retro as we'll have photographers roaming the party after a "red carpet" entrance and nothing less than a vintage car and Hollywood flavor line-up at the entrance steps.
