Northeastern Illinois University El Centro is the University’s academic center for the Latino community. Known as El Centro [the center], this location provides educational opportunities to members of the Latino community, though not exclusively, in or near their own neighborhoods. El Centro assists prospective students and their families with the admission and financial aid process, offers undergraduate and graduate courses leading to bachelor’s and master’s degrees and provides a comprehensive academic support and co-curricular programs for students. El Centro serves the Latino community through English as a Second Language (ESL) and computer literacy instruction, as well as outreach programs in the areas of education, health, housing and technology. Students and community members at El Centro have access to a higher education environment with modern facilities which include technology-enhanced classrooms, meeting rooms, study rooms, multipurpose activity room, student lounge, and a Learning Commons. In addition, El Centro has state of the art technical resources including wireless Internet access and computer laboratories equipped with PCs and Macintosh computers. El Centro is located in the Avondale neighborhood on the Northwest Side of Chicago, just four miles south of NEIU’s main campus. El Centro is easily accessible to residents of West Town, Hermosa, Humboldt Park and Logan Square.

The Art House is a Chicago-based art school focused on providing fine arts instruction for developing and practicing artists working in painting and drawing. Instruction is tailored to meet the artist’s needs at any stage in the creative process.
Infinity Arts Academy was founded in 2012 by Dana Armstrong and Mansie O'Leary. We provide children ages 5+ the opportunity to learn performance techniques, singing, dancing, improvisation, and acting. We strive to offer fun and interesting theatrical performances for your children in a safe and nurturing environment. We offer dance classes, private voice and acting coaching, and produce musicals with children of all ages. Our staff is highly educated and talented in their fields. All employees of Infinity Arts Academy have been fingerprinted and background checked, and they have all participated in the Virtus training offered by the Archdiocese of Chicago.
