The TXMF SAPR/SHARP Office is committed to eliminating incidents of sexual assault by instituting a comprehensive policy that focuses on increasing awareness through prevention and education, victim-centered support, intimidation-free reporting, thorough investigation, and accountability for those who commit sexual assault crimes. We assist units by placing proper personnel in position to act as Victim Advocates/Sexual Assault Response Coordinators. We coordinate training for newly appointed VAs/SARCs, conduct refresher training for current VAs/SARCs, and ensure units are conducting their annual mandatory training.
