Owner, Bill Raymer, an “architectural salvage aficionado”,"rescues" antique mantels, hardware, stained glass, iron and wood elements, furniture, unique artifacts etc. and showcases these in a well organized 7,000 square foot showroom and warehouse located at 1946 Washington St. in Boston, Mass.
Over the years, Bill, his team and his business have garnered widespread media attention, appearing on HGTV, DIY Network, This Old House, and Ask This Old House, A&E, Spike TV, ABC's Chronicle, and NECN. Restoration Resources has also been featured in more than 25 publications, including New England Home, Old House Interiors, Better Homes and Gardens, Boston Magazine, and This Old House. A two time recipient of "Best of Boston Home” for both antique hardware and green salvaged materials (2010 and 2011), Restoration Resources has also been ranked as among “The Top 100’ Hot and Green: Eco-conscious design” in 2009.
While the retail store is the core business, Restoration Resources is also sought after for Prop Rentals, (which have been included in more than 25 films), as a unique Vintage Venue for rent, as a Set Location for Photo shoots and films etc., and a Recycling Center for Quality Architectural Elements.

From 1840 to 1940, our Online & Retail Showroom maintains Antique chandeliers and wall lights, such as converted gas chandeliers, sconces, lanterns, flush fixtures, and more.
