We want the community to know that all proceeds from the Basilica Block Party benefit two areas: funding our ongoing renovation efforts of the Basilica, and supporting the St. Vincent de Paul outreach program that provides food and other services to those in need. Over the last 18 years, we are proud the Block Party has become a favorite summertime event in the Twin Cities celebrating music, good weather and community, while raising money to preserve a historic landmark that has been an integral part of our community for more than a century.

The LAB Theater is a 6,000 square-foot warehouse, originally built by The Guthrie Theater as a "laboratory" space for experimental and unique works. 20-some odd years later, the theater has become home to a number of independent productions - ranging from live theatre, concerts, The Minnesota Fringe festival, cabaret and elaborate full-scale theatrical productions by Cardinal Theatricals, Theatre Latté Da and The Moving Company. Located in the stylish Warehouse District/North Loop neighborhood of downtown, it is a perfect venue for audiences seeking bold new theatre and dynamic sightlines, seating and comfort.
RatHaus Productions is a new Minneapolis-based performance company devoted to exposing the average nightlife goer to live theatre and performing arts. CURRENT PROJECT: CABARAVE returns to the Lab Theater in Minneapolis with MADHAUS, merging a nightclub atmosphere with theatrical elements this Halloween weekend. Drink, dance and watch a cast of singers, dancers, aerialists, musicians and visual artists appear in vignette performances throughout the night. Stay for a bit, or for a while. At Modist, our aim is to modify beer and how it is perceived by defying rules and expectations. We don’t abide by established style guidelines and refuse to bend to preconceived notions. I am a MINNEAPOLIS based artist specializing in watercolor and oil paintings of landscapes, seascapes and figures. Additionally, I am a co-op member of Traffic Zone Center for the Arts and my studio is located in the historic warehouse district of downtown Minneapolis. I've been painting professionally for more than 20 years and teach watercolor for beginners. I've traveled extensively and the inspiration for some of my paintings are reflective of those travels as well as events and observations of every day occurrences. In producing my paintings I attempt to convey an emotion more than a photographic rendering would. My images have been exhibited in Bangkok, Thailand , Mexico and throughout the United States, winning numerous awards in Juried Exhibitions. Many of my paintings are owned by PRIVATE collectors in southern California, Seattle, Washington, Austin, Texas, and in the permanent collections of the Minneapolis Library . I've studied at the Minneapolis College of Arts and Design as well as the Edina, MN Art Center. Additionally, I've studied and painted with one of Northern Mexico's master muralist, Moreno and portrait artist Guillermo Kelly while living in Mexico .
