As with most established businesses in Las Vegas, Charleston Antique Mall has a long and interesting history. Almost daily we get the opportunity to hear stories from customers who come to our current location to find treasures and share memories of previous visits and create new memories. Las Vegas residents and visitors from out of town who have been shopping here for a long time will tell you that Charleston Antique Mall got its start as The Red Rooster in 1987. The Red Rooster was a two-story building on Western Avenue just East of Interstate 15. The building itself was reminiscent of an old barn and was filled with antique and collectible goodies waiting to be discovered. Neighboring The Red Rooster was the old 7-Up Bottling factory building that had been built in the early 1950's. Opportunity Village had purchased that building at 307 W. Charleston Blvd. in 1977 and sold it to a private owner in 1992. The Red Rooster was expanded into this building at that time. Early in 2006, the name The Red Rooster was changed to Charleston Antique Mall, to coincide with us being on Charleston Blvd. In March of 2008, two of our Dealers, Cal and Michelle Tully purchased the business. With their love of antiques and vintage collectibles and a passion to match, Charleston Antique Mall started to become a must stop location. The back portion of the mall that had long been a storage area now had new dealers filling in their wonderful array of antiques and collectibles. By the beginning of 2012, Charleston Antique Mall had become a gem in the crown of Las Vegas and a must stop destination for visitors and locals alike. After a bit of repairs and upgrades, the building was looking better than ever! Customers remarked daily how great the place looked and about the amazing items they could find therein. Shortly into the new year, notice was served that part of Project Neon was to build an off ramp from Interstate 15 on to Charleston Blvd., and unfortunately our building was scheduled to be destroyed. The search was on to find a new home. April 30, 2012 was set as the final day Charleston Antique Mall would be open to the public at its current location on Charleston Blvd. Soon we found a new home at 560 S. Decatur Blvd. The location that had once been a large pizza place was 2,000 sq. ft. larger than the Charleston Blvd. location and as fate would have it, it was in the Charleston Heights shopping center. All of our Dealers at Charleston Antique Mall just knew that this was the place. Work commenced immediately as the Decatur location was completely bare. It was simply a large empty building with concrete floors and plain walls. Over the next few weeks the dealers packed up their items from the Charleston Blvd. location and made their way over to our new home. New carpeting was put in and every booth was built from scratch. Cal, Michelle and all of the Dealers worked day and night to bring our new home to life. On July 1, 2012, Charleston Antique Mall re-opened to a huge and excited crowd! Two months later Charleston Antique Mall had its official Grand Re-Opening that was attended by out-of-town visitors, locals and the mayor of Las Vegas, Carolyn Goodman! Our Dealers continue to bring in amazing merchandise from locations far and wide and offer it at incredible prices. Our new home on Decatur Blvd. is still close to the Las Vegas Strip and has plenty of parking. We are excited to welcome back our out-of-town visitors and local community. We are also grateful to have been welcomed back with such incredible enthusiasm. Now more than ever, Charleston Antique Mall has earned its place as a must stop destination for our visitors and locals alike.

Arizona Charlie's Decatur is a 258-room casino hotel with a 59000sqft locals casino in the Charleston Heights area of Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.HistoryArizona Charlie's Decatur are the results of original efforts by the Becker family, long established developers in Las Vegas. In 1963, just south of a shopping project on Decatur, between Charleston Blvd. and what was formerly West Fremont Street, the Becker family built Charleston Heights Bowling, a bowling alley with 36 lanes and slot machines. Their son, Bruce Becker came to Las Vegas in 1971 and was put in charge of running Charleston Heights Bowling. He made the decision to expand the bowling alley into a casino. The casino's namesake was a distant relative, "Arizona" Charlie Meadows, a performer in Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show. The $18 million casino resort opened in April 1988. It underwent a $40 million expansion in 1994, when the 31-year-old bowling alley, Vons supermarket and former location of Pistol Pete's/Peter Piper's Pizza was destroyed to make way for a larger casino, quickly becoming a neighborhood favorite and local's hangout. In November 1997 investor Carl Icahn bought a majority of Arizona Charlie's mortgage notes, making him the bankrupt resort's largest creditor. Icahn fought for control of Arizona Charlie's throughout the bankruptcy process. In July 1998, Bruce Becker's $92 million loan from United Healthcare collapsed and ownership of the property passed to Carl Icahn and American Casino & Entertainment Properties . In January 2000, American Casino & Entertainment Properties purchased Sunrise Suites on Clark County's Boulder Highway for $43.3 million. The property was renamed Arizona Charlie's Boulder, as a companion name to Arizona Charlie's Decatur. The two properties are 10.4mi apart, with a third ACEP property, Stratosphere Tower located approximately midway between the two.
