CFS is a licensed, non-profit child placing agency that utilizes voluntary and temporary foster care to help place children into loving, christian homes for the benefit of mothers, families, and children in crisis. We also provide the alternative of adoption for those facing an unplanned pregnancy or decide that they are unable to care for their child. We are a counseling agency as well. We have several counselor and locations to help families, individuals, and couples. We offer a sliding fee scale for the uninsured and underinsured, and we accept most major health insurance providers.
At CORE, we differ from most physical therapy clinics in St. Louis because at CORE Services you will receive one-on-one treatment every visit with the same physical therapist. While we believe that every person must take an active role in his or her treatment and recovery, we also believe that we are your partner on your journey to better health. Every body and every problem is different. By using hands-on treatment by the therapist on a consistent basis, we are better able to understand your body and your concerns. In my private practice I provide counseling services to individuals, couples and families. My primary passion is the area of giftedness; working to navigate emotional intensity, overexcitabilities, perfectionism, underachievement, frustration tolerance, peer relationships, self-concept, and anxiety.

Its a joy to experience! I have a particular heart for children ages 5 and up. Developing a caring relationship in a safe atmosphere allows my young clients to process their struggles and grow. My clients learn that they have the ability to handle their problems, and grow in confidence.
I have lived in St. Louis since 2002 and I love it here. I graduated from The Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis in 2005, where I individualized my course of study to include emphases in: Youth, Families, Mental Health, Sexuality, and Relationships. Private practice therapy was exactly what I always wanted to do. In counseling, I believe in jumping right in. While some therapy styles require months or years of treatment, I don’t think -for most people- that is necessary. I’m pretty much entirely solution-focused. This means the modality I most often use is practical, results-oriented, and focuses on solving the current problems in your life. In addition to being solution-focused, I take an eclectic, client-centered approach. What this means is that your therapy process is unique to you; I don't have a prescribed "one size fits all" style. Likewise, if you come see me a few times and you or I feel we aren't making enough progress, I can help you find someone who might be a better fit. My style is empathetic and nonjudgmental, meaning you can tell me anything without fear of condemnation or judgment. You can expect honest and extremely direct feedback. My therapy style is challenging, but without being confrontational. There are many talented counselers in St. Louis, and "shopping" for the right fit can be daunting.
