With its architectural landmark building in Midtown Manhattan the Austrian Cultural Forum New York is the cultural embassy of Austria in the United States. It hosts more than 200 free events annually and showcases Austrian contemporary art, music, literature, and academic thought in New York. The Austrian Cultural Forum enjoys long-standing and flourishing partnerships with many venerable cultural and academic institutions throughout New York and the United States.
The Arsenal is a symmetrical brick building with modestly Gothic Revival details, located in Central Park, New York City, centered on 64th Street off Fifth Avenue. Built between 1847 and 1851 as a storehouse for arms and ammunition for the New York State Militia, the building predates the design and construction of Central Park, where only the Blockhouse (1814) is older.The Arsenal was designed by Martin E. Thompson (1786–1877), originally trained as a carpenter, who had been a partner of Ithiel Town and went on to become one of the founders of the National Academy of Design. Thompson's symmetrical structure of brick in English bond, with headers every fifth course, presents a central block in the manner of a fortified gatehouse flanked by half-octagonal towers. The carpentry doorframe speaks of its purpose with an American eagle displayed between stacks of cannonballs over the door, and crossed sabers and stacked pikes represented in flanking panels.The building currently houses the offices of the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation and the Central Park Wildlife Conservation Center, but it has also served as a zoo and housed a portion of the American Museum of Natural History's collections while its permanent structure was being erected. During the course of its lifetime it has also housed a police precinct, a weather bureau, and an art gallery.

Fountain Gallery is the premier venue in New York City representing artists with mental illness. Founded by Fountain House in 2000 as a not-for-profit exhibition space for artists living and working with mental illness, the Gallery sells original artworks and collaborates with a wide network of artists, curators and cultural institutions. Embracing artists who are emerging or established, trained or self-taught, Fountain Gallery cultivates artistic growth and makes a vital contribution to the New York arts community. Since opening in Tokyo in 1996, Ippodo Gallery has consistently introduced outstanding works of contemporary Japanese art-crafts. Why The "Marshall" Project? Thurgood Marshall is an American hero. His work as a lawyer for the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, including the landmark Brown vs. Board of Education decision, laid the groundwork for the modern U.S. civil rights movement. As the first African-American justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, he was a persuasive advocate for a living and breathing Constitution that sees beyond the prejudices of revolutionary America. If Marshall were alive, I have no doubt that he would place criminal justice reform high among the urgent priorities of today’s civil rights movement, and that his would be a powerful voice for change. Founded by Susan Wadsworth in 1961, Young Concert Artists, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to discovering and developing the careers of extraordinary classical musicians. Winners of our annual Auditions are presented in recitals in the Young Concert Artists Series in New York, Washington, D.C. at the Kennedy Center, and at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston, and receive management services, booking of concert appearances through the United States and abroad, publicity, promotional materials and career guidance for three or more years. The Board of Directors selects beneficiary institutions by evaluating their programs according to the guidelines and criteria set forth by FAAFC’s mission statement, then designates funds to specific projects. FAAFC then closely monitors each project by making regular visits to the facilities of the beneficiaries and through annual reviews of each charity, its grants and financial statements. In addition, FAAFC makes one-time donations to similarly selected disaster relief organizations that benefit children. All funds are raised through events, donations and membership dues. FAAFC distributes 100% of itsjjl proceeds every year.
Since its founding in 1943 by Mayor Fiorello LaGuardia as “The People’s Opera” New York City Opera has been a critical part of the city’s cultural life. During its history, NYCO launched the careers of dozens of major artists and presented engaging productions of both mainstream and unusual operas alongside commissions and regional premieres. The result was a uniquely American opera company of international stature. For more than seven decades, NYCO maintained a distinct identity, adhering to its unique mission: affordable ticket prices, a devotion to American works, English-language performances, the promotion of up-and-coming American singers, and seasons of accessible, vibrant and compelling productions intended to introduce new audiences to the art form. Stars who began their careers at New York City Opera include Plácido Domingo, Beverly Sills, Samuel Ramey, and dozens more. In 1999, New York City Opera founded VOX, Contemporary Opera Lab, an annual concert series that offered composers and librettists the opportunity to hear excerpts of their works performed by professional singers and musicians. For decades NYCO has been committed to introducing opera to the young, bringing the art form to new audiences with educational outreach performances in New York City’s public schools. Now, having returned to the stage, New York City Opera continues its legacy at a new, state-of-the-art home at the Rose Theater at Jazz at Lincoln Center, with revitalized outreach and education programs, and programming designed to welcome and inspire a new generation of City Opera audiences.

Started in 2011 as the Boston International Ballet Competition (BIBC) by Valentina Kozlova as a host for young, international talent. VKIBC has had three editions of its competition with a panel of international and acclaimed judges, fostering young talent while awarding high caliber prizes in the hope to enrich the lives of dancers and their audiences. In 2013 Ms. Kozlova decided to go one step further and beginning, VKIBC presents Contemporary Dance and Choreography Competition, which was in April 2014. In 2015, Semi-Final Editions have been added and the competition is continuing to grow with talent, as this year VKIBC will host its Second Edition of the Contemporary Dance and Choreography Competition along with our classical Edition. Flamenco Latino has moved its administrative offices to Jackson Heights. Flamenco Latino still offers weekly classes at different levels in dance, cante and guitar, hosts workshops with both US- based and Spain-based guest artists, and produces concerts in its studio theater. Flamenco Latino is dedicated to developing a NYC-style of flamenco based on the historically precedented influence of Latino art forms on flamenco,and through collaboration with other artists in areas such as Tap, Cuban Rumba, Salsa and Jazz.
