Troy's main focus will be to showcase local jazz musicians by giving them a platform to perform the type of music that moves the artists. We seek to offer a quality experience for our patrons while providing an outlet for talented and explosive musicians to collaborate as well as an outlet for newcomers to prove their showmanship without limits. Troy's will educate, promote and encourage musicians to go beyond the written music and jam outside of the box. Our goal is to attract serious music enthusiasts while keeping chit chat at a minimum. We want to be more than a fad, but a new tradition in St. Louis. Help us build a landmark and create a new era of musical legends.
The Arts and Education Council provides office space, state-of-the-art technology, rehearsal and performance space for 17 nonprofit arts organizations in the Centene Center for Arts and Education, an arts incubator located in Grand Center. History The Centene Center for Arts and Education began its life in the late 1880s when Jacob Mahler built a dance studio. In 1906, Ann Hamilton Bailey deeded additional frontage space and in 1907, Archbishop John J. Glennon dedicated the new home of the Knights of Columbus with great fanfare and spectacle. This architectural masterpiece, designed by Baker and Knell, would become the showpiece for the Knights of Columbus for decades to come. Later the structure served as home to the International Machinists Union and the Medinah Temple. After nearly twenty years without occupancy, all the arts have returned to this space. Many of the original architectural features installed during the days of the Knights of Columbus Hall have been preserved — the beautiful gothic-style white glazed terra cotta façade, the corridors lined in Italian marble, the original tile and wooden floors, and the elaborate ironwork. A New Beginning Through the vision of Vince Schoemehl and the Grand Center Board of Directors, Steve Trampe and Owen Development, and the Arts and Education Council Board and Staff, a new home for the arts in Grand Center was established. Through the leadership gift of the Centene Charitable Foundation, the Centene Center for Arts and Education provides arts organizations state-of-the-art offices and technology. Rental Spaces: Laclede Conference Room Great for meetings, presentations, and working lunches, this bright and comfortable room seats 14, a large conference table, and includes multi-media and refreshment capabilities. The Rialto A 4050 square feet space plus an outdoor rooftop terrace with view of midtown and downtown. It is equipped with multi-media and stage lighting. The Arthur and Helen Baer Visual Arts Galleries Open 10:00 am - 4:00 pm weekdays and during special events, exhibits works or projects produced by Arts and Education Council funded organizations.

(SLUMA) The Collection of the Western Jesuit Missions showcases religious art and artifacts from the 13th to the 20th centuries. The Historic Samuel Cupples House serves as a gallery for the University's collection of fine and decorative art dating before 1919 and houses the McNamee Gallery.
Located at 4733 McPherson Avenue in Saint Louis' Central West End, projects+gallery is a commercial art space designed to feature contemporary exhibitions and artists that blur the boundaries of traditionally understood artistic disciplines and practices. In conjunction with Barrett Barrera Projects, a consulting company founded by Susan Barrett in 2014 and specializing in arts, culture and contemporary fashion, projects+gallery features regional, national and international artists working in a variety of mediums.

Duet is an exhibition series and curatorial endeavor devoted to meaningful pairings between an artist from St. Louis and a carefully chosen complimentary artist from another city, offering up both a comparison and contrast of the cultural landscape that influences each of the artist’s work. Located in Grand Center, the series will include artists working in a variety of media and exploring subjects unique to their geography. This curatorial project underwritten by Ken and Nancy Kranzberg; whose support of local artists has been a sustained commitment for over twenty-five years, allows artists valuable exposure to new audiences within and beyond the region.
The mission of Portfolio Gallery and Education Center is to educate and enrich lives and foster a greater awareness of American artist of African American heritage. History: Saint Louis artist and educator Robert A. Powell founded Portfolio in 1989. At the time he recognized that even African American artist such as Gordan Parks Jacob Lawrence Varnette Honeywood and Richard Hunt (Just to name a few) were relatively obscured in the visual arts world. He also understood the important role of history and culture in our community. Powell started off as a one man organizer- administrator, Curator, Exhibit installer/De-installer, fundraiser and sometimes even carpenter. Portfolio Gallery showcases and provides and following services: - Local, Regional, National/International renowned African American Artist - Direct artist education to Children, Adults, and Developmentally disabled persons. - Works with educators to enhance traditional arts in the school setting - Offers lectures, Demonstrations, and Opportunities for cultural and intellectual exchange. Specializing in contemporary art, Bruno David Projects is a part of the Bruno David Gallery and has been a leading art gallery since its establishment in Saint Louis in 2005. Bruno David represents some of the most innovative artists practicing in St. Louis, along with artists of international reputation. The Gallery is located in Grand Center and directly opposite the Pulitzer Arts Foundation and the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, and is in close proximity to the Museum of Contemporary Religious Art, Saint Louis University Museum of Art, Sheldon Art Galleries. Bruno David Gallery’s art program introduces new contemporary art to gallery visitors, and is discussed in publications including, Art in America, Art Papers, ArtNet Magazine, and The Wall Street Journal.
