Patrick Connolly of County Galway, Ireland, began his barkeep career in 1942 when he opened the Pat Connolly Tavern, and for two decades he worked to create a St. Louis landmark. Although the tavern has changed names and owners over the years, it has now returned to the Connolly family and the original name. We are proud to continue the tradition that Pat started over 70 years ago, offering classic pub fare and fine spirits in a family-friendly atmosphere. We also strive to be active in our community and welcoming to all who walk through our door. We invite you to have your next meal, pint, or event with us!
The original Kaldi’s Coffehouse is situated in the historical DeMun neighborhood of Clayton overlooking Concordia Park. We first opened our doors here in 1994. Since then, fans have come from far and wide to enjoy our spectacular coffee, home-made pastries, vegetarian/vegan fare and relaxing patio. Recently remodeled, the coffee and food have been elevated with the addition of a hand-brew bar, new espresso machine, and a revamped menu.

Courtesy Diner is a locally owned and family operated restaurant with three convenient mid-town locations on Hampton Ave., Kingshighway Blvd., and Laclede Station Rd. Courtesy is renowned for the “St. Louis Slinger,” an original consisting of one hamburger patty, two eggs (as you like them), all topped with a generous amount of chili, crisp hash browns, and optional diced onions, jalapeno, and shredded cheddar. The Hampton location is infamous for rap artist Chingy’s music video, “Right Thurr.” Open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, with an affordable menu and fast service, Courtesy is ideal for an early breakfast, quick lunch, or a late night drunken feast. Unique and delicious diner fare, old-fashioned shakes and cream pies, award winning jukeboxes, and a nostalgic atmosphere make Courtesy Diner a necessity for both locals and tourists.
