If you are interested in martial arts, first ask “what do I want out of a martial arts school?” Without this focus, many individuals sign up at the school closest to home or the one with the best sales pitch. We want you to make an informed decision.
International Kokondo Association, consists of Jukido Jujitsu and Kokondo Karate. Our Martial Arts are designed to teach Self Defense using the techniques of traditional Jujitsu and Karate Systems. Kokondo’s primary goal of “appropriate response” is guided by its adherence to the seven codes of Bushido (the way of the Warrior).
The system utilizes the principles of Kuzushi (unbalancing), Jushin (center line theory) and Shorin-ji (points and circles) to create a fully-effective self defense system.
Classes have been in the same Affton location since 1985 and we are one of the longest continuously running martial arts schools in the St. Louis Metropolitan area.
