At St. Anne's Place, we offer intensive case management, support groups, an educational and recreational children's program, housing referrals and extensive life-skills programming designed to help women make their way back to stability after becoming homeless. Aftercare services are available for families that would benefit from additional support. Ascension Place provides a safe environment for women who are transitioning to long-term stability while recovering from the effects of homelessness, mental illness, chemical dependency and violence. The healing process includes case management, support groups, access to a wide range of wellness programming including creative outlets. For women who have benefited from living in community at Ascension Place and are ready to resume permanent housing; we have opened Next Step Housing. An 'intentional community' apartment building, tenants may access supportive services at their discretion. They work together to form long-term support systems that increase the strength of the wellness that they have achieved at Ascension Place.
Beacon is a collaborative of more than 70 congregations ending homelessness through housing development, the Families Moving Forward shelter program and public advocacy. Families Moving Forward has two program centers in North Minneapolis and Prior Lake.

Rachel picked up her first professional camera in college and hasn't looked back since. Graduating from Concordia College (Moorhead, MN) in 2012 with degrees in Writing and Mass Media, Rachel spent much of her college career working for the student newspaper, serving first as a photographer and eventually as an editor. Since graduating, she's worked as a freelance photographer, graphic designer, writer, event coordinator and social media marketer for several Twin Cities-based companies. Rachel's love for art and her experience as a newspaper photographer have been the biggest influences on her approach to photography. She adopts an illustrative approach to her work, meaning that her shots are a combination of traditional style poses, artistic shots and spontaneous candids. Rachel's fun-loving, flexible nature make each photography shoot an enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Outside of the photography world, Rachel has a great affinity for plants, having spent nine summers working at a greenhouse and three winters as a florist.
