Established in 1954, CTLA promotes & protects individual rights through the judicial, legislative & administrative process as well as through arbitration, mediation & other alternative means of dispute resolution. The association also assists in the continuing legal education & training of trial lawyers & provides social, recreational, health & economic benefits. Over the years, CTLA members have been active as volunteers throughout the state helping with speaker bureaus, pro bono projects, community service projects & teaching the People’s Law School through Colorado Free University.

The Tenth Circuit Library system is made up of the Denver Library and branch libraries in Albuquerque, Cheyenne, Kansas City, Oklahoma City, Salt Lake City, Tulsa, and Wichita. The mission of each of these libraries is to provide library services and legal research support to all federal courts within the geographic boundaries of the six states comprising the Tenth Circuit. The federal courts served are the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, District Courts, and Bankruptcy Courts.
