When I was young I wanted to be a professional basketball player. I mean, growing up in Jordan's Chicago how could you want anything else? However, there were several hurdles i needed to overcome. Entering high school a whopping 4'11- 110lbs, I started to realize that my dream of entering the NBA would never come true. It was a sad fact that I would have to come to terms with. As time went on, i learned to accept my fate as a non-NBA player. Then something happened...I had a second dream. My new dream was to open my own kayak tour and rental company along the Chicago river. People would come to my shop, rent out a kayak (single or tandem), and enjoy all that beautiful downtown Chicago has to offer. 'The Mac' starts at the Chicago Lighthouse, just off Navy Pier and continues to Mackinac Island. In 2014, the cruising division starts July 18, and the racing divisons July 19.
