My name is Pamela Richmond and I love Sandals, Beaches and Grand Pineapple resorts. My desire to see these resorts started back in 1998 when I first started working as a travel agent. I would see the advertisements and say to myself. I have to stay at one of these resorts. I have to see the beaches in the pictures and wonder what it would be like to lounge one. I worked really hard at learning as much as I could about the properties, which has grown since then since I became an agent. I started traveling since 1989 a lot. I think my first excitement for travel came with just a small trip to Virginia, Washington state, Washington DC, NJ, FL, NC, and more. Then I started taking cruises. I lived in Germany and have traveled to so many places in Europe. I've travel to Greece, France, Italy, London, Switzerland, Paris, Rome, Spain and Holland. Through all my travels I still had my eye on the prize. That was Sandals. I've travel throughout all of the Caribbean and fell in love with the Caribbean. Dream Away Travel wasn't my first company. I owned Enchantment travel in Ladson, SC where I still have committed clients for that time still booking with me. My family and I would travel to Walt Disney World at least 3 times a year, along with Sea World and Universal studios. It was then I discovered Florida's beaches. I knew or in my mind at least that the nearest Sandals resort was just across the way for Clearwater Beach. I had something to learn. I decided to move to Orlando, FL in 2000, where I started working for Walt Disney World reservations September 2000. A great experience and I learned so much. I stayed with the company for five years. I know Disney like the back of my hands. I started learning more about airlines and so much more. I had an accident which had me where I was unable to walk. I felt depressed and I wasn't traveling. So the cruising started back about two years later once I was able to walk on my own. I was on International drive one day where I met a young lady by the name of Amy who was in a Sandals car, (I will never for get her). I waved her down and asked her, how did you get that car and she replied through my company. I sell Sandals vacations. You know me I started working with that company shortly after that, I began learning about wedding shows, Sandals, Beaches and Grand Pineapple but still never went to one of the resorts. I went on a work event by cruise of all things and there I was at the first Sandals. Sandals Royal Bahamian resorts. It took me a while but I learned the properties really well. I also got to stay at one of the resorts that I didn't think I would be interested in which was an all Butler suite resort. Sandals Royal Plantation got me hooked. I love, love Sandals resorts and all that they do. I will always commit to them because they are the true all luxury included resorts. They have resorts for family and friends and resort for those who are on a budget. Mr. Stewart didn't miss a beat. He put the right people in place and he went to work and I love saying that I'm apart of the Sandals family of travel agents. I know all of the properties and have stayed on many. Please I invite you to stay as well, you'll be hooked too.
