Our focus is to align our teens and youth with the mission and vision of our Bishop and Pastor by taking this city and saving one soul at a time; to equip them with the word of God and train them up in a way that each should go so when they grow old, it will not depart from them; to educate or teens on biblical principles and scriptures to help them live a strong christian life and stand against all pressures. Develop strong relationships with our youth and prepare them to become the future leaders of our church and potential leaders of the world. Serving ages: 12-18yrs. Our Teen Service is held every Sunday at 11:30am in the Learning Center with the word of God being brought by our awesome ATC Youth Ministry Team. We teach right from the bible line by line with interactive skits, songs, games and more. Come be a part of something great! The HIV Education and Prevention Project of Alameda County (HEPPAC) was founded in 1992 to prevent the spread of HIV by establishing Oakland's first syringe exchange program. Today, HEPPAC has expanded our prevention efforts to provide our community with HIV and STI testing and linkage to treatment, basic needs services and harm reduction based community outreach.
What we do: -Youth Soccer League - free of charge for the participants -Weekly grocery distribution to families in need -Once-monthly USDA food distribution -Youth empowerment programs -Solidarity project “Bringing Hope” -Cultural celebrations -Referrals for people who are seeking social services How you can help: -Help coach a soccer team or support the teams in other ways -Donate soccer equipment: soccer balls, soccer cleats, etc. -Provide economic supportfor soccer league fees, soccer field rentals, etc. -Share your time and skills and help with office work, grant writing -Monetary contributions to help pay our bills and expenses
