Angela Crisan Liava'a fell in love with the Tahitian Ori at a young age of 10. This love affair began the moment she laid her eyes on this art form. She always knew that it would be a part of her life. At 25, she has become an award winning director and choreographer that has performed across the region and internationally. She has produced, directed and choreographed several sold out production shows at different venues across the city, such as The Grove of Anaheim. She and Te Varua Ori recently came back from Tahiti where they had a TV interview, performed in the city, and performed in Legendary Coco Hotahota's Farereiraa I Tahiti 2012. She was featured on Kababayan TV for an interview and televised performance, as well as The BBQ show on Betelnut Radio Station. Angela just recently received the AWE, Asian Woman Entrepreneurs Lotus Award. She has taught over 150 aspiring dancers and seen many of her students grow into confident, poised and respectable performers and entertainers. Several of them have become award winning soloist and group members. Her dream has always been to spread the beauty of the Tahitian Ori, with hopes that it would touch her student's lives the way it has touched hers. Angela is available to do workshops, choreograph dance numbers, and teach private lessons. Prices may vary. Please message for more information.
