Nevada Seafood Wholesalers, LLC is owned and operated by Mark & John Smolen in Las Vegas, NV. Prior to organizing in Nevada in 2007 the Smolen family hailed from Bowie Maryland (just outside of Annapolis and Baltimore) home to some of the best seafood in the United States. Our Maryland heritage and deep experience handling seafood ensures the best quality and service. We began simply distributing live product to a variety of grocery stores and restaurants. Over the years we had countless requests to provide our retail customers with an authentic Crab House like we had in Maryland. In October of 2010 we opened Crab Corner to fill the void so many in Las Vegas were feeling. We regularly source live female and male Blue Crabs, from the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries. In addition to handling products from the East Coast, we also source many other products, such as Live Crawfish, and Shrimp from Louisiana and the Gulf Coast region. Our company's focus has remained the same since its inception; to provide the freshest seafood available in Las Vegas. Our products are flown in daily and, in most cases, delivered to you within 24 hours of coming out of the water.
