My name is Emily and I am an independent hair stylist. I love what I do for a living. I love that my clients are always happy to see me. Sometimes, I am the highlight of their day (pun absolutely intended). I do my best to help people realize that they have GREAT hair. I'm going to try to use this page to offer hair advice and inspiration to others and gain a little myself, too.

Beginning 22 years ago. the St. Louis Black Pages began out of dire need for the African American community to stop punishing Black owned businesses for being Black and enbrace and support them. For over two decades we have committed ourselves to developing and executing effective advertising campaigns for Black owned businesses in the St. Louis Metro area. As we move forward, we are re-branding and re-positioning the publication to not only be a strong vehicle for businesses in the community but to also be a catalyst for CHANGE. We must step up to the plate and accept our responsibility to be the change we wish to see in our community. In order to transform the African American community, vastly more jobs and business opportunities must be nurtured; accordingly we are revitalizing The St. Louis Black Pages. Throughout all of 2013, force the Digital Marketing and Social Media will be fully utilized to communicate the 2012 cover theme; Love Black. African Americans will thrive when a conscious decision to Love Black results in the transofrmation of the community.
